Abstract

A game board assembly includes a table that has a top surface and a perimeter edge. The top surface has a center area defining a highest point of the top surface. The top surface slopes downwardly in all directions continuously from the center area to the perimeter edge. A perimeter wall is attached to and extends upwardly from the perimeter edge. The perimeter edge and the perimeter wall have a plurality of notches therein. Openings are defined in the perimeter wall each associated with one of the notches. A plurality of mounts is attached to the table. Each of the openings has one of the mounts positioned adjacent thereto. Each of the mounts has one of a plurality of paddles attached thereto. Each of the paddles includes a grip to facilitate rotating the paddles. A ball is positioned on the table and is strikable with the paddles.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A game assembly comprising:
a table having a top surface and a perimeter edge, said top surface having a center area defining a highest point of said top surface, said top surface sloping downwardly in all directions continuously from said center area to said perimeter edge, a perimeter wall being attached to and extending upwardly from said perimeter edge, said perimeter edge and said perimeter wall having a plurality of notches therein, wherein openings are defined in said perimeter wall each associated with one of said notches, said perimeter edge defining a respective straight section of said perimeter edge extending along each notch, a distance between adjacent ones of said notches being equal, wherein areas adjacent to said notches are lower than all remaining areas of said top surface; a plurality of mounts each being attached to said table, each of said openings having one of said mounts positioned adjacent thereto; a plurality of paddles, each of said mounts having one of said paddles attached thereto such that each of said openings has one of said paddles positioned therein, each of said paddles including a grip to facilitate rotating said paddles away from a vertical position extending downwardly over said openings in vertical alignment with said perimeter edge; and a ball being positioned on said table and being strikable with said paddles.

2 . The game assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said top surface comprises four quadrants each having a same size and being substantially square shaped, each of said quadrants having a corner abutting said center area, said notches comprising four notches.

3 . The game assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said paddles are centrally located such that lateral apertures are defined between each of said paddles and adjacent lateral edges of said perimeter wall bordering said openings, said ball having a size to allow said ball to move through said lateral apertures.

4 . The game assembly according to claim 1 , further including a plurality of housings, each of said housings being coupled to said table, each of said housings being positioned adjacent to one of said notches such that said housings capture any objects falling through said notches.

5 . The game assembly according to claim 3 , further including a plurality of housings, each of said housings being coupled to said table, each of said housings being positioned adjacent to one of said notches such that said housings capture any objects falling through said notches.

6 . The game assembly according to claim 1 , further including a plurality of legs being attached to and extending downwardly from said table.

         7 . A game assembly comprising:
a table having a top surface and a perimeter edge, said top surface having a center area defining a highest point of said top surface, said top surface sloping downwardly in all directions continuously from said center area to said perimeter edge, a perimeter wall being attached to and extending upwardly from said perimeter edge, said perimeter edge and said perimeter wall having a plurality of notches therein, wherein openings are defined in said perimeter wall each associated with one of said notches, said perimeter edge defining a respective straight section of said perimeter edge extending along each notch, a distance between adjacent ones of said notches being equal, said top surface comprising four quadrants each having a same size and being substantially square shaped, each of said quadrants having a corner abutting said center area, said notches comprising four notches, wherein areas adjacent to said notches are lower than all remaining areas of said top surface; a plurality of mounts each being attached to said table, each of said openings having one of said mounts positioned adjacent thereto; a plurality of paddles, each of said mounts having one of said paddles attached thereto such that each of said openings has one of said paddles positioned therein, each of said paddles including a grip to facilitate rotating said paddles away from a vertical position extending downwardly over said openings in vertical alignment with said perimeter edge, said paddles being centrally located such that lateral apertures are defined between each of said paddles and adjacent lateral edges of said perimeter wall bordering said openings; a ball being positioned on said table and being strikable with said paddles, said ball having a size to allow said ball to move through said lateral apertures; a plurality of housings, each of said housings being coupled to said table, each of said housings being positioned adjacent to one of said notches such that said housings capture any objects falling through said notches; and a plurality of legs being attached to and extending downwardly from said table.
