Abstract

Mounting fixture ( 1 ) for construction panels ( 2 ), consisting of an H-shaped profile comprised of a bottom plate ( 3 ), a midriff ( 4 ) and a front plate ( 5 ), whose bottom plate ( 3 ) and front plate ( 5 ) are mutually essentially parallel by the joining midriff ( 4 ), and that construction panels are intended to be attached to the space between the bottom plate ( 3 ) and the front plate ( 5 ). The midriff ( 4 ) and the front plate ( 5 ) are with evenly spaced intervals recessed so that protruding sections ( 6 ) with intermediate recesses ( 7 ) are formed in the mounting fixture's longitudinal length, said protruding sections ( 6 ) consisting of the remaining sections of the midriff ( 4 ) and the front plate ( 5 ), and that each respective recess ( 7 ) is intended to, after the construction panel's insertion, form a space for joint compound for joining and sealing of the panels.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Mounting fixture ( 1 ) for joining construction panels ( 2 ), consisting of an H-shaped profile comprised of a bottom plate ( 3 ), a midriff ( 4 ) and a front plate ( 5 ), whose bottom plate ( 3 ) and front plate ( 5 ) are mutually essentially parallel by the joining midriff ( 4 ), and that construction panels are intended to be attached to the space between the bottom plate ( 3 ) and the front plate ( 5 ) characterized by that the midriff ( 4 ) and the front plate ( 5 ) with evenly spaced intervals are recessed so that protruding sections ( 6 ) with intermediate recesses ( 7 ) are formed in the mounting fixture's longitudinal length, said protruding sections ( 6 ) consisting of the remaining sections of the midriff ( 4 ) and the front plate ( 5 ), and that each respective recess ( 7 ) is intended to, after the construction panel's insertion, form a space for joint compound for joining and sealing of the panels.

2 . Method for use of the mounting fixture in accordance with claim 1 characterized by that a first panel is placed against studs after which the mounting fixture is attached to the first panel's edge after which a second panel is placed by it being attached to the mounting fixture and studs after which the panels are fastened with the appropriate screws in the studs, after which the wall is constructed with the appropriate number of panels and mounting fixtures.

3 . Method in accordance with claim 2 characterized by that the front plates of the mounting fixtures are mudded in and concealed in the recessed bevels of the panels.

4 . Method in accordance with claim 3 characterized by that the application of joint compound secures and seals the mounting fixture in relation to the panels.

5 . Method in accordance with claim 3 or 4 characterized by that the joint compound consists of special joint compound.
