Systems and methods for identification document processing and business workflow integration
Abstract
A method includes: receiving or capturing an image comprising an identity document (ID) using a mobile device; classifying the ID; analyzing the ID based at least in part on the ID classification; determining at least some identifying information from the ID; at least one of building an ID profile and updating the ID profile, based at least in part on the analysis; providing at least one of the ID and the ID classification to a loan application workflow and/or a new financial account workflow; and driving at least a portion of the workflow based at least in part on the ID and the ID classification. Corresponding systems and computer program products are also disclosed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method, comprising:
receiving or capturing an image comprising an identity document (ID) using a mobile device; classifying the ID; analyzing the ID based at least in part on the ID classification; determining at least some identifying information from the ID; at least one of building an ID profile and updating the ID profile, based at least in part on the analysis; providing at least one of the ID and the ID classification to a loan application workflow; and driving at least a portion of the workflow based at least in part on the ID and the ID classification.
2 . The method as recited in claim 1 , further comprising submitting at least some data from the ID profile to the loan application workflow.
3 . The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein updating the ID profile comprises modifying identifying information in the ID profile based at least in part on the analysis.
4 . The method as recited in claim 3 , wherein the identifying information modified by updating the ID profile comprises one or more of:
an address corresponding to a person to which the ID corresponds; a name of the person to which the ID corresponds; an ID number; and a portrait of the person to which the ID corresponds.
5 . The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the ID classification comprises “driver's license.”
6 . The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the ID classification further comprises a jurisdiction corresponding to the ID.
7 . A method, comprising:
receiving or capturing an image comprising an identity document (ID) using a mobile device; classifying the ID; analyzing the ID based at least in part on the ID classification; determining at least some identifying information from the ID: at least one of building an ID profile and updating the ID profile, based at least in part on the analysis; providing at least one of the ID and the ID classification to new financial account workflow; and driving at least a portion of the workflow based at least in part on the ID and the ID classification.
8 . The method as recited in claim 7 , wherein the ID classification comprises “driver's license.”
9 . The method as recited in claim 7 , wherein the ID classification further comprises a jurisdiction corresponding to the ID.
10 . The method as recited in claim 7 , wherein the new financial account workflow is configured to facilitate opening a new bank account, a new investment account, or a new credit line.
11 . The method as recited in claim 7 , further comprising submitting at least some data from the ID profile to the new financial account workflow.
12 . The method as recited in claim 7 , wherein updating the ID profile comprises modifying identifying information in the ID profile based at least in part on the analysis.
13 . The method as recited in claim 12 , wherein the identifying information modified by updating the ID profile comprises one or more of:
an address corresponding to a person to which the ID corresponds; a name of the person to which the ID corresponds; an ID number; and a portrait of the person to which the ID corresponds.
14 . A computer program product comprising: a computer readable storage medium having computer readable program code stored therein, the computer readable program code comprising instructions configured to cause a processor to:
receive or capturing an image comprising an identity document (ID) using a mobile device; classify the ID; analyze the ID based at least in part on the ID classification; determine at least some identifying information from the ID; at least one of building an ID profile and updating the ID profile, based at least in part on the analysis; provide at least one of the ID and the ID classification to a new financial account workflow; and drive at least a portion of the workflow based at least in part on the ID and the ID classification.
15 . The computer program product as recited in claim 14 , wherein the ID classification comprises “driver's license.”
16 . The computer program product as recited in claim 14 , wherein the ID classification further comprises a jurisdiction corresponding to the ID.
17 . The computer program product as recited in claim 14 , wherein the new financial account workflow is configured to facilitate opening a new bank account, a new investment account, or a new credit line.
18 . The computer program product as recited in claim 14 , further comprising instructions configured to cause the processor to: submit at least some data from the ID profile to the new financial account workflow.
19 . The computer program product as recited in claim 14 , wherein updating the ID profile comprises modifying identifying information in the ID profile based at least in part on the analysis.
20 . The computer program product as recited in claim 19 , wherein the identifying information modified by updating the ID profile comprises one or more of:
an address corresponding to a person to which the ID corresponds; a name of the person to which the ID corresponds; an ID number; and a portrait of the person to which the ID corresponds.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
