Abstract
An organic light emitting display device is disclosed. The organic light emitting display device includes a first light emitting part between an anode and a cathode, the first light emitting part having a first light emitting layer, and a second light emitting part between the first light emitting part and the cathode, the second light emitting part having a second light emitting layer and a third light emitting layer, wherein the second light emitting layer includes a hole-type host and a first electron-type host, and the third light emitting layer includes a first electron-type host and a second electron-type host.

1 . An organic light emitting display device, comprising:
a first light emitting part between an anode and a cathode, the first light emitting part having a first light emitting layer; and a second light emitting part between the first light emitting part and the cathode, the second light emitting part having a second light emitting layer and a third light emitting layer, wherein the second light emitting layer includes a hole-type host and a first electron-type host, and the third light emitting layer includes a first electron-type host and a second electron-type host.

The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) level of the first electron-type host is within a range from −2.3 eV to −2.5 eV, and the LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) level of the second electron-type host is within a range from −2.6 eV to −2.8 eV.
3 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 2 , wherein the difference in LUMO levels between the first electron-type host and the second electron-type host is equal to or less than 0.5 eV.
4 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the HOMO level of the first electron-type host and the second electron-type host is within a range from −5.4 eV to −5.8 eV.
5 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the electron mobility of the first electron-type host is equal to or lower than 1×10 −5 cm 2 /Vs, and the electron mobility of the second electron-type host is within a range from 1×10 −5 cm 2 /Vs to 1×10 −4 cm 2 /Vs.
6 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein the second light emitting layer and the third light emitting layer includes a yellow-green light emitting layer.
7 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , further comprising a third light emitting part between the second light emitting part and the cathode, the third light emitting part having a fourth light emitting layer.
8 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein an occupied volume ratio of the first electron-type host in the third light emitting layer is equal to or larger than an occupied volume ratio of the second electron-type host in the third light emitting layer.
9 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein an occupied volume ratio of the first electron-type host adjacent to the second light emitting layer is equal to or larger than an occupied volume ratio of the second electron-type host adjacent to the cathode.
10 . An organic light emitting display device, comprising:
a first light emitting part between an anode and a cathode, the first light emitting part having a first light emitting layer; and a second light emitting part over the first light emitting part, the second light emitting part having a second light emitting layer, wherein the second light emitting layer includes two regions so that light emission occurs within the second light emitting layer, one of the two regions having a hole-type host and a first electron-type host to adjust electron injection into the second light emitting layer and improve the lifetime of the second light emitting layer, and the other one of the two regions having a first electron-type host and a second electron-type host, the first electron-type host and the second electron-type host having different electron mobilities from each other.
11 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein the second light emitting layer includes a yellow-green light emitting layer.
12 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein the electron mobility of the first electron-type host is lower than the electron mobility of the second electron-type host so as to improve electron injection into the second light emitting layer.
13 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 12 , wherein the electron mobility of the first electron-type host is equal to or lower than 1×10 −5 cm 2 /Vs, and the electron mobility of the second electron-type host is within a range from 1×10 −5 cm 2 /Vs to 1×10 −4 cm 2 /Vs.
14 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein the difference in LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) levels between the first electron-type host and the second electron-type host is small so as to improve electron injection into the second light emitting layer.
15 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 14 , wherein the difference in LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) levels between the first electron-type host and the second electron-type host is equal to or less than 0.5 eV.
16 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein an organic light emitting display device including one of the two regions of the second light emitting layer having a hole-type host and a first electron-type host and the other one of the two regions having first and second electron-type hosts having a different electron mobility has increased lifetime of the organic light emitting display device, as compared with an organic light emitting display device having a hole-type host and an electron-type host.
17 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , further comprising a third light emitting part having a third light emitting layer between the second light emitting part and the cathode.
18 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 10 , wherein an occupied volume ratio of the first electron-type host in the other region is equal to or larger than an occupied volume ratio of the second electron-type host in the other region.
19 . The organic light emitting display device of claim 1 , wherein an occupied volume ratio of the first electron-type host adjacent to the anode is equal to or larger than an occupied volume ratio of the second electron-type host adjacent to the cathode.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
