Electronic apparatus, management system, and recording medium
Abstract
An electronic apparatus includes an information presenting part that obtains the job information of a stored first job of a first user who has logged on to the electronic apparatus and the job information of a stored second job of a second user who has authorized the first user to execute the second job from a computer connected to the electronic apparatus, and presents the obtained job information to the first user; and an execution control part that, when one of the first and the second job is selected and instructed to be executed by the first user, obtains the job data of the one of the first and the second job from the computer and execute the obtained job data. The first user and the stored first job are correlated and managed and the first user and the second user are correlated and managed in a predetermined storage area.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An apparatus, comprising:
a processor; and a memory storing a program that, when executed by the processor, causes the apparatus to
obtain, from a storage, a job requested by a logon user, the job including user identification information of a storing user who has stored the job in the storage; and
replace the user identification information of the storing user included in the obtained job with user identification information of the logon user when the logon user having requested the obtained job is different from the storing user of the obtained job,
wherein the user identification information of the logon user that has replaced the user identification information of the storing user is recorded in a usage history.
2 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the logon user selects and requests the job from among one or more jobs that the storing user has authorized the logon user to execute.
3 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the apparatus is caused to replace the user identification of the storing user in a header of data of the job with the user identification information of the logon user.
4 . A method for recording a usage history due to job execution, comprising:
obtaining, by an apparatus, from a storage, a job requested by a logon user, the job including user identification information of a storing user who has stored the job in the storage; and replacing, by the apparatus, the user identification information of the storing user included in the obtained job with user identification information of the logon user when the logon user having requested the obtained job is different from the storing user of the obtained job, wherein the user identification information of the logon user that has replaced the user identification information of the storing user is recorded in the usage history.
5 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the logon user selects and requests the job from among one or more jobs that the storing user has authorized the logon user to execute.
6 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said replacing replaces the user identification of the storing user in a header of data of the job with the user identification information of the logon user.
7 . A job control system, comprising:
a management apparatus; and an output apparatus, wherein the management apparatus includes
a first processor; and
a first memory storing a first program that, when executed by the first processor, causes the management apparatus to obtain, from a storage, a job requested by a logon user, the job including user identification information of a storing user who has stored the job in the storage,
wherein the output apparatus includes
a second processor; and
a second memory storing a second program that, when executed by the second processor, causes the output apparatus to execute the obtained job,
wherein the user identification information of the storing user included in the obtained job is replaced with user identification information of the logon user when the logon user having requested the obtained job is different from the storing user of the obtained job, wherein a usage history due to execution of the job is generated, and wherein the user identification information of the logon user that has replaced the user identification information of the storing user is recorded in the generated usage history.
8 . The job control system as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the logon user selects and requests the job from among one or more jobs that the storing user has authorized the logon user to execute.
9 . The job control system as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the user identification of the storing user in a header of data of the job is replaced with the user identification information of the logon user.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
