Abstract
An infant blanket assembly for restraining an infant while the blanket is wrapped around the infant includes a blanket that has a first end and a second end. The blanket is elongated such that the blanket may be wrapped around an infant. The blanket is structured to define a pair of primary pockets. Each of the primary pockets receives an associated one of the infant's legs. A pair of secondary pockets is provided. Each of the secondary pockets is coupled to the blanket such that each of the secondary pockets receives an associated one of the infant's arms.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . An infant blanket assembly comprising:
a blanket having a first end and a second end, said blanket being elongated such that said blanket is configured to be wrapped around an infant; said blanket being structured to define a pair of primary pockets such that each of said primary pockets is configured to receive an associated one of the infant's legs; and a pair of secondary pockets, each of said secondary pockets being coupled to said blanket such that each of said secondary pockets is configured to receive an associated one of the infant's arms
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising said blanket having an exterior edge extending between each of a front side and a back side of said blanket, each of said primary pockets extending downwardly from a bottom side of said exterior edge of said blanket such that each of said primary pockets is positioned closer to said first end of said blanket than said second end of said blanket.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , further comprising each of said primary pockets having a respective upper end and a respective lower end, said upper end of each of said primary pockets being open, said upper end of each of said primary pockets being positioned adjacent to said bottom side of said exterior edge of said blanket.
4 . The assembly according to claim 2 , further comprising each of said secondary pockets having a respective first lateral edge and a respective second lateral edge, said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge of each of said secondary pockets being coupled to said front side of said blanket such that each of said secondary pockets forms a loop with respect to said blanket, each of said secondary pockets being positioned adjacent to an associated one of said primary pockets.
5 . An infant blanket assembly comprising:
a blanket, said blanket having a first end and a second end, said blanket being elongated such that said blanket is configured to be wrapped around an infant, said blanket having an exterior edge extending between each of a front side and a back side of said blanket; said blanket being structured to define a pair of primary pockets each extending downwardly from a bottom side of said exterior edge of said blanket such that each of said primary pockets is positioned closer to said first end of said blanket than said second end of said blanket, each of said primary pockets having a respective upper end and a respective lower end, said upper end of each of said primary pockets being open, said upper end of each of said primary pockets being positioned adjacent to said bottom side of said exterior edge of said blanket wherein each of said primary pockets is configured to receive an associated one of the infant's legs; and a pair of secondary pockets each having a respective first lateral edge and a respective second lateral edge, said first lateral edge and said second lateral edge of each of said secondary pockets being coupled to said front side of said blanket such that each of said secondary pockets forms a loop with respect to said blanket, each of said secondary pockets being positioned adjacent to an associated one of said primary pockets such that each of said secondary pockets is configured to receive an associated one of the infant's arms, said blanket being wrapped around the infant after the infant's legs and arms are positioned within the respective primary and secondary pockets wherein said assembly is configured to restrain the infant while said blanket is wrapped around the infant.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
