Abstract

A garment assembly includes a power tool that has a power cord. A vest has an inner side and an outer side. The vest has a back portion and a pair of front portions. The vest has a pair of arm openings extending through the inner side and the outer side. The vest may be worn such that the inner side abuts a user. A plurality of straps has a first end, a second end and a top surface and a bottom surface each extending therebetween. The power cord is retained within the straps on the back portion and the straps on the front portion. Thus, the power cord is prevented from being cut by the power tool when the power tool is utilized. A belt has a first end and a second end. The belt has a break to define a pair of free ends of the belt. A pair of buckles is coupled to the free ends. The buckles are matable to retain the vest on the user.

I claim:

1 . A garment assembly configured to protect a power cord of a power tool from being cut, said assembly comprising:
a power tool having a power cord; a vest having an inner side and an outer side, said vest having a back portion and a pair of front portions, said vest having a pair of arm openings extending through said inner side and said outer side, said vest being configured to be worn such that said inner side abuts a user; a plurality of straps having a first end, a second end and a top surface and a bottom surface each extending therebetween, said power cord being retained within said straps on said back portion and said straps on said front portion such that said power cord is prevented from being cut by said power tool when said power tool is utilized; and a belt having a first end and a second end, said belt having a break to define a pair of free ends of said belt; and a pair of buckles coupled to said free ends, said buckles being matable such that said belt is configured to retain said vest on the user.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said bottom surface of said straps being coupled to said outer side of said vest such that each of said first end and said second end are free.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said top surface and said bottom surface being matable such that said straps forms a closed loop.

4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein a plurality of said straps being arranged to form a row extending downwardly along said back portion of said vest.

5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , wherein a plurality of said straps being further arranged to form a pair of rows extending downwardly along each of said front portions of said vest.

6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said pair of front portions having an inner edge, each of said first end and said second end of said belt being coupled to said inner edge of said pair of front portions such that said belt extends between said front portions.

7 . A garment assembly configured to protect a power cord of a power tool from being cut, said assembly comprising:
a power tool having a power cord; a vest having an inner side and an outer side, said vest having a back portion and a pair of front portions, said vest having a pair of arm openings extending through said inner side and said outer side, said vest being configured to be worn such that said inner side abuts a user; a plurality of straps having a first end, a second end and a top surface and a bottom surface each extending therebetween, said bottom surface being coupled to said outer side of said vest such that each of said first end and said second end are free, said top surface and said bottom surface being matable such that said straps forms a closed loop, a plurality of said straps being arranged to form a row extending downwardly along said back portion of said vest, a plurality of said straps being further arranged to form a pair of rows extending downwardly along each of said front portions of said vest, said power cord being retained within said straps on said back portion and said straps on said front portion such that said power cord is prevented from being cut by said power tool when said power tool is utilized; and a belt having a first end and a second end, said belt having a break to define a pair of free ends of said belt, said pair of front portions having an inner edge, each of said first end and said second end being coupled to said inner edge of said pair of front portions such that said belt extends between said front portions; and a pair of buckles coupled to said free ends, said buckles being matable such that said belt is configured to retain said vest on the user.
