Storing information to manipulate focus for a webpage

Abstract

A method for storing a webpage configuration. The method includes determining a manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content of a webpage on a user interface. The method includes storing the manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content in data of the webpage. The method further includes generating a unique link to the webpage containing the stored manipulated configuration data.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for storing a webpage configuration, the method comprising:
 determining, by one or more computer processors, a manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content of a webpage, wherein the manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content of a webpage is a highlighted section of the webpage;   storing, by one or more computer processors, the manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content in data of the webpage, as metadata in the URL;   generating, by one or more computer processors, a unique link to the webpage containing the stored manipulated configuration data; and   transmitting, by one or more computer processors, the generated unique link to another computing device wherein, transmitting the generated unique link to another computing device provides the another computing device to view the identical manipulated configuration of viewing properties and content of the webpage.
