Abstract

The inventive step is a sock consisting of two components: the foot and the shin sock. The foot is made of material commonly used for full-length soccer socks. At the ankle, the sock is directly fused to the second component, the shin sock. The shin sock is made of a think material like nylon or polyethylene, thus allowing it to have the elasticity to slide over a shin guard without getting caught.

         1 . Football and soccer socks, comprising of two components made of two different fabrics or fabric blends, joined together into a single sock. 
     
     
         2 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom component is made of fabric such as cotton, polyester, or some combination thereof and top component is made of such fabric such as nylon, polyethylene, EVA rubber, polypropylene, elastane, or some combination thereof. 
     
     
         3 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom component is made of fabric such as cotton, polyester, or some combination thereof. 
     
     
         4 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein the top component is made of fabric such as nylon, polyethylene, EVA rubber, polypropylene, elastane, or some combination thereof. 
     
     
         5 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 2 , wherein a pattern can be sewn in representing a club or national emblem. 
     
     
         6 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 2 , wherein a pattern can be sewn in representing a brand's logo. 
     
     
         7 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein component  1  and component  2  are the same color. 
     
     
         8 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein component  1  and component  2  are different colors. 
     
     
         9 . Football and soccer socks as to  claim 1 , wherein both components contain water-resistant materials.
