Abstract

A towel device for spin biking made from towel material that is sewed with two tunnel-like regions that slip over the bike's handle bars. The left and right sides of the device descend downward from the left and right handle bars and include pockets for cellphones, ID cards and the like. The device is easily manufactured, easily put on the bike and removed, and totally washable just as a towel. Because it is typically towel material, it can also be used directly as a towel for wiping face and body.

1 . A method of creating a spin bike accessory comprising:
cutting an approximately rectangular piece of cloth; sewing a pair of tunnel-like loops into said piece using two lateral seams at approximately ⅓ and ⅔ length forming a central section and two end sections, the tunnel-like loops spaced and sized to fit spin bike handle bars; sewing a seam around said piece; sewing a plurality of pockets on at least one of said end sections.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein said cloth is towel material.

3 . The method of claim 1 including sewing two pockets on each of said end sections.

4 . The method of claim 1 further comprising fitting the spin bike accessory to a particular spin bike.

5 . The method of claim 1 further comprising supplying a cord to secure the spin bike accessory to a spin bike.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the pockets have zippers.

7 . The method of claim 1 wherein at least one of the pockets is sized to hold a smartphone or smart pad.

8 . The method of claim 1 further comprising sewing ports onto the spin bike accessory to pass earphone wires.

9 . A method of creating a spin bike accessory comprising:
cutting an approximately rectangular piece of towel material; sewing a pair of tunnel-like loops into said piece using two lateral seams at approximately ⅓ and ⅔ length forming a central section and two end sections, the tunnel-like loops spaced and sized to fit spin bike handle bars; sewing a seam around said piece; sewing a plurality of pockets on at least one of said end sections.

10 . The method of claim 9 including sewing two pockets on each of said end sections.

11 . The method of claim 9 further comprising fitting the spin bike accessory to a particular spin bike.

12 . The method of claim 9 further comprising supplying a cord to secure the spin bike accessory to a spin bike.

13 . The method of claim 9 wherein the pockets have zippers.

14 . The method of claim 9 wherein at least one of the pockets is sized to hold a smartphone or smart pad.

15 . The method of claim 9 further comprising sewing ports onto the spin bike accessory to pass earphone wires.
