Claims

Abstract

A method of aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device is disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least one reference point is superposed within a first target area with at least one beam of the superposition device. A position for at least one of the reference points is noted. A projectile is shot from the projectile device at a second target area, while the position of the at least one reference point is maintained, to create the point of impact. The point of aim for the projectile device is adjusted to correspond with the point of impact while the position of the at least one reference points is maintained.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device, comprising:
 at least one superposition device configured:
 to create at least one beam; 
 to be coupled to the projectile device; and 
 to superpose at least one optical reference point within a first target area with said at least one beam, wherein said at least one optical reference point comprises a reflective surface configured to reflect said at least one beam. 
   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one superposition device is further configured to be removably coupled to the projectile device. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one superposition device further comprises at least one illumination source configured to superpose said at least one optical reference point within the first target area by projecting said at least one optical reference point within the first target area. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one superposition device further comprises at least one reference point. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 4 , wherein said at least one optical reference point is coupled to the optics of a scope. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one optical reference point within said first target area is pre-printed. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising a collimator for sharpening said at least one beam. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one optical reference point is adapted to be chromatically interactive with said at least one beam. 
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising a sight aid for aiding aiming of the projectile device with respect to said at least one beam.
