Abstract
A multiple driver head post driving system includes a vehicle having a chassis with a front end, a back end, a side extending from the front end to the back end, and an opposing side extending from the front end to the back end; and a driver head assembly. The driver head assembly is coupled to the chassis and includes a framework carrying a plurality of driver heads.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe invention claimed is:
1 . A multiple driver head post driving system comprising:
a vehicle having a chassis with a front end, a back end, a side extending from the front end to the back end, and an opposing side extending from the front end to the back end; and a driver head assembly coupled to the chassis, the driver head assembly including a framework carrying a plurality of driver heads.
2 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the framework includes a plurality of stanchions with each one of the plurality of stanchions supporting an associated one of the plurality of driver heads.
3 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 2 wherein the driver head assembly further includes a plurality of carriages with each one of the plurality of carriages carrying an associated one of the plurality of driver heads, each of the plurality of carriages separately reciprocally movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions between a raised position and a lowered position.
4 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 3 wherein each of the carriages is movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions by a chain and sprocket assembly carried by the associated stanchion and coupled to the carriage.
5 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the driver head assembly further includes a plurality of track element, each of the plurality of track elements horizontally coupled to the framework, each one of the plurality of driver heads is carried by and reciprocally movable along an associated one of the plurality of track elements.
6 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 1 further including:
a longitudinally extendable arm having an end and a terminal end, the longitudinally extendable arm coupled to and extending across the chassis with end proximate the opposing side and the terminal end proximate the side;
an actuator moving the arm generally perpendicularly with respect to the chassis, between a retracted position and an extended position; and
wherein the driver head assembly is coupled to the terminal end of the arm.
7 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 6 wherein the driver head assembly is coupled to the terminal end of the arm by a pivot assembly carried by the terminal end of the arm, the pivot assembly moves the driver head assembly between a deployed position and a stored position.
8 . A multiple driver head post driving system comprising:
a vehicle having a chassis with a front end, a back end, a side extending from the front end to the back end, and an opposing side extending from the front end to the back end; and a driver head assembly coupled to the chassis, the driver head assembly comprising:
a plurality of stanchions with each one of the plurality of stanchions supporting an associated one of the plurality of driver heads;
a plurality of carriages with each one of the plurality of carriages carrying an associated one of the plurality of driver heads, each of the plurality of carriages separately reciprocally movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions between a raised position and a lowered position; and
a plurality of track element, each of the plurality of track elements horizontally coupled to an associated on of the plurality of stanchions, each one of the plurality of driver heads is carried by and reciprocally movable along an associated one of the plurality of track elements.
9 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 8 wherein each of the carriages is movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions by a chain and sprocket assembly carried by the associated stanchion and coupled to the carriage.
10 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 8 further including:
a longitudinally extendable arm having an end and a terminal end, the longitudinally extendable arm coupled to and extending across the chassis with end proximate the opposing side and the terminal end proximate the side;
an actuator moving the arm generally perpendicularly with respect to the chassis, between a retracted position and an extended position; and
wherein the driver head assembly is coupled to the terminal end of the arm.
11 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 10 wherein the driver head assembly is coupled to the terminal end of the arm by a pivot assembly carried by the terminal end of the arm, the pivot assembly moves the driver head assembly between a deployed position and a stored position.
12 . A multiple driver head post driving system comprising:
a vehicle having a chassis with a front end, a back end, a side extending from the front end to the back end, and an opposing side extending from the front end to the back end; a longitudinally extendable arm having an end and a terminal end, the longitudinally extendable arm coupled to and extending across the chassis with the end proximate the opposing side and the terminal end proximate the side; an actuator moving the arm generally perpendicularly with respect to the chassis, between a retracted position and an extended position; and a driver head assembly coupled to the terminal end of the arm.
13 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 12 wherein the driver head assembly is coupled to the terminal end of the arm by a pivot assembly carried by the terminal end of the arm, the pivot assembly moves the driver head assembly between a deployed position and a stored position.
14 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 13 wherein the framework includes a plurality of stanchions with each one of the plurality of stanchions supporting an associated one of the plurality of driver heads.
15 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 13 wherein the driver head assembly further includes a plurality of carriages with each one of the plurality of carriages carrying an associated one of the plurality of driver heads, each of the plurality of carriages separately reciprocally movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions between a raised position and a lowered position.
16 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 15 wherein each of the carriages is movable longitudinally along an associated one of the plurality of stanchions by a chain and sprocket assembly carried by the associated stanchion and coupled to the carriage.
17 . A multiple driver head post driving system as claimed in claim 13 wherein the driver head assembly further includes a plurality of track element, each of the plurality of track elements horizontally coupled to the framework, each one of the plurality of driver heads is carried by and reciprocally movable along an associated one of the plurality of track elements.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
