Abstract
Provided is an electronic cigarette with improved safety. The electronic cigarette may include a mouthpiece through which a user may inhale. The electronic cigarette may also include a chamber for storing a liquid substance to be inhaled. Also included may be an atomizer configured to vaporize the substance to be inhaled and to produce a vaporized substance. The atomizer may be configured to deliver the vaporized substance to the mouthpiece. An electric battery may also be included. The electronic battery may be connected to the atomizer and configured to permit the activation thereof. Also included in the electronic cigarette may be an activating means for the atomizer.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An electronic cigarette with improved safety, comprising:
a mouthpiece through which a user inhales; a chamber for storing a liquid substance to be inhaled; an atomizer configured to vaporize said liquid substance to be inhaled and to produce a vaporized substance, said atomizer configured to deliver said vaporized substance to said mouthpiece; an electric battery connected to said atomizer and configured to permit the activation thereof; and activating means of said atomizer; said chamber comprises at least one outer wall forming a boundary with an external environment, and means of access arranged along said outer wall, said means of access being a one-way type configured to associate the external environment with said chamber and to permit the introduction of said liquid substance to be inhaled from the external environment.
2 . The electronic cigarette according to claim 1 , wherein said means of access comprise a filling valve.

The electronic cigarette according to claim 2 , wherein said liquid substance to be inhaled is introduced into said chamber from the external environment through said filling valve by means of a bottle comprising a neck provided with an aperture through which said liquid substance to be inhaled is able to flow, and wherein said filling valve comprises first releasable retaining means configured to connect said neck of said bottle securely to said filling valve and to establish a fluidic through connection between said aperture and said filling valve.

The electronic cigarette according to claim 2 , wherein said filling valve is configured to permit the introduction of said liquid substance to be inhaled from the external environment substantially only when said neck is connected to said filling valve by means of said first releasable retaining means.

The electronic cigarette according to claim 2 , wherein said liquid substance to be inhaled is introduced into said chamber from the external environment through said filling valve by means of a connector, said connector configured to also be retained to a neck of a bottle containing said liquid substance to be inhaled, and wherein said filling valve comprises first releasable retaining means configured to firmly connect said connector to said filling valve and to connect in a fluidic through connection said bottle with said filling valve.
6 . The electronic cigarette according to claim 1 , wherein said means of access consist of a pierceable membrane placed along said outer wall and said pierceable membrane consists of a solid but partially fluid material configured to resume its original shape after being pierced.
7 . A kit for inhaling vaporized substances, comprising the electronic cigarette according to claim 1 and a bottle comprising a neck provided with an aperture through which said liquid substance to be inhaled is able to flow.
8 . The inhalation kit according to claim 7 , comprising releasable retaining means configured to firmly connect said neck of said bottle to said filling valve and to establish a fluidic through connection between said aperture and said filling valve.
9 . The inhalation kit according to claim 8 , wherein said filling valve is suitable to permit the introduction of said liquid substance to be inhaled from the external environment substantially exclusively when said neck is connected to said filling valve by means of said first releasable retaining means.
10 . A bottle configured to contain a liquid substance to be inhaled for an electronic cigarette, comprising:
a neck provided with an aperture for flow of said liquid substance to be inhaled; and a second releasable retaining means configured to connect said bottle to said electronic cigarette of claim 1 .
11 . The bottle according to claim 10 , wherein said second releasable retaining means comprise a thread positioned on the top of said neck.
12 . An electronic cigarette with controlled access, comprising:
a mouthpiece through which a user inhales; a chamber for storing a liquid substance to be inhaled; an atomizer configured to vaporize said liquid substance to be inhaled and to produce a vaporized substance, said atomizer configured to deliver said vaporized substance to said mouthpiece; a casing for an electric battery connected to said atomizer and configured to permit the activation thereof; activating means of said atomizer; and connection means of said chamber to the remaining part of said electronic cigarette configured to make said liquid substance to be inhaled inside said chamber accessible, said connection means being safety connection means.
13 . The electronic cigarette according to claim 12 , wherein said connection means comprise at least one “child-proof” releasable connection.
14 . The electronic cigarette according to claim 13 , wherein said connection means comprise at least one double action connection.
15 . An improved electronic cigarette, comprising:
a mouthpiece through which the user inhales, a chamber for storing a liquid substance to be inhaled, an atomizer configured to vaporize said substance to be inhaled and to produce a vaporized substance, said atomizer configured to deliver said vaporized substance to said mouthpiece, a casing for an electric battery connected to said atomizer and configured to permit the activation thereof, activating means of said atomizer, characterised in that said chamber is configured to house a disposable cartridge including said liquid substance to be inhaled, and said electronic cigarette comprises connection means of said disposable cartridge to said atomizer configured to connect said disposable cartridge to said electronic cigarette and to place the liquid substance to be inhaled contained in said disposable cartridge in fluidic through connection with said atomizer.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
