Abstract

The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a serum-free medium suitable for culturing of DS cells. The present invention relates to a serum-free medium for culturing of DS cells containing platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), or to a method for culturing of dermal sheath (DS) cells, using serum-free medium comprising PDGF.

1 . A serum-free medium for culturing of dermal sheath (DS) cells, comprising platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF). 
     
     
         2 . The serum-free medium according to  claim 1 , wherein the PDGF is PDGF-BB. 
     
     
         3 . The serum-free medium according to  claim 1 , wherein the dermal sheath (DS) cells are derived from the dermal sheath cup (DSC) region. 
     
     
         4 . A method for culturing dermal sheath (DS) cells, using a serum-free medium comprising platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF). 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein the PDGF is PDGF-BB. 
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 4 , wherein the dermal sheath (DS) cells are derived from the dermal sheath cup (DSC) region.
