Mobile terminal and control method for the same
Abstract
A mobile terminal is disclosed herein. The mobile terminal may include a body, a display, a transceiver for short range radio communication, and a controller configured to control data transfer through the transceiver. The controller may be configured to determine whether a request for data is received, determine whether an input is required to allow authorize the data transfer, and determine whether the data transfer is authorized, and transfer data through the transceiver when the data transfer is authorized. The input may be received without displaying a prompt on the display for the input. The input may be received while the display is turned off. Moreover, the input may be a prescribed movement of the body of the mobile terminal or an application of a prescribed amount of force on the mobile terminal.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A mobile terminal, comprising:
a body; a sensor; a display; a transceiver for short range radio communication with an object; a controller capable of: recognizing, via the transceiver, the object capable of the short range radio communication in a state where the display is turned off; sensing, via the sensor, a movement of the body after the object is recognized in the state where the display unit is turned off; determining whether the sensed movement of the body corresponds to a preset motion of the body authorizing data transfer between the transceiver and the object in the state where the display is turned off; and performing the data transfer with the object based on the sensed movement of the body corresponding to the preset motion authorizing the data transfer in the state where the display unit is turned off.
2 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein the mobile terminal is in a standby state for a predetermined time to sense the movement of the body in response to recognizing the object.
3 . The mobile terminal of claim 2 , wherein the controller outputs a notification requesting a movement of the body related to the preset motion authorizing the data transfer.
4 . The mobile terminal of claim 2 , wherein data communication with the object is prevented if the preset motion authorizing the data transfer is not sensed for a preset time.
5 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is activated only when the object capable of the short range radio communication has been recognized.
6 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein the controller controls the sensor to be activated if data to be transceived between the object and the transceiver in the short rang radio communication is related to payment information.
7 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein the preset motion for authorizing the data transfer is set based on a movement of the body sensed in a setting step.
8 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein an application to be used in the data transfer with the object is activated in response to recognizing the object.
9 . The mobile terminal of claim 8 , wherein the preset motion includes a rotation of the body at a specific angle, an acceleration a deceleration, a direction or velocity, or wherein the orientation of the body includes the body ( 101 , 102 ) being inclined at a prescribed angle.
10 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , the object capable of the short range radio communication is recognized when the mobile terminal is within a prescribed range of the object and then a notification sound or vibration notifying the recognition of the object is output.
11 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , the object is one of a mobile terminal or payment terminal using the short range radio communication, or one of a memory, a sticker, a card, a tag capable of the short range radio communication.
12 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein using the preset motion for authorizing the data transfer is a motion authentication manner, and the motion authentication manner is one of a plurality of authentication manners authorizing the data transfer.
13 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein the motion authentication manner is selected in a setting step based on a user's selection, and
wherein the plurality of authentication manners comprise a face recognition authentication manner, a Morse code authentication manner and the motion authentication manner.
14 . The mobile terminal of claim 13 , wherein if the face recognition authentication manner is selected in the setting step, a camera is activated in response to recognizing the object.
15 . The mobile terminal of claim 13 , wherein if the Morse recognition authentication manner is selected in the setting step, a microphone is activated in response to recognizing the object,
wherein the controller recognizes a preset Morse code authorizing the data transfer using consecutively inputting a specific beat or pattern to the microphone.
16 . The mobile terminal of claim 1 , wherein when the preset motion is not recognized as an input to authorize the data transfer, the controller detects a type of data requested by the object and generates a display of a list of application programs associated with the requested data type for processing the requested data.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
