12 . The display control device according to claim 11 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to
increase the level of detail of the display content in a case the operating object is positioned within the first area, and decrease the level of detail of the display content in a case the operating object is positioned within the second area.
13 . The display control device according to claim 1 , wherein the motion of the operating object is associated with a plurality of different operation processes, and the one operation process is determined based on the pressure and the length of the contact time of the operating object being in a state of continuously contacting the display surface within the first area.
14 . The display control device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the circuitry is further configured to
control a scrolling of an image displayed on the display surface, according to a movement of the contact position of the operating object on the display surface, and
changing a level of detail of display content displayed on the display surface, according to a movement of the contact position of the operating object on the display surface, and
wherein, in a case of determining that the contact time of the operating object within the first area has exceeded a threshold time, the circuitry initiates the changing of the level-of-detail of the display content.
15 . The display control device according to claim 14 ,
wherein, in a case of determining that the contact position of the operating object is positioned outside the first area, the circuitry initiates the scrolling of the image.
16 . The display control device according to claim 14 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to detect the pressure imposed by the operating object on the display surface.
17 . The display control device according to claim 16 , wherein, in a case the detected pressure is higher than a threshold pressure, the circuitry initiates the changing of the level-of-detail of the display content.
