Abstract

A touch screen panel and a fabricating method thereof are disclosed. A thin film is formed on a substrate, sensing patterns are formed as touch sensors on the thin film. The substrate is separated from the thin film, thereby implementing an ultra thin film touch screen panel.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A touch screen panel comprising:
 first and second sensing patterns formed to be alternately arranged on a thin film, the first sensing patterns being formed to be connected to one another for each column having the same X coordinate, the second sensing patterns being formed to be connected to one another for each row having the same Y coordinate;   first connection lines that electrically connect the first sensing patterns;   connection patterns formed in a different layer from the first and second sensing patterns, the connection patterns electrically connecting the second sensing patterns; and   a first insulating layer formed between the connection patterns and the first and second sensing patterns.   
     
     
         2 . The touch screen panel according to  claim 1 , wherein the thin film comprises a polyimide material. 
     
     
         3 . The touch screen panel according to  claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the thin film is between about 0.005 to about 0.05 mm.
