Abstract

An armrest cover for a lawn chair or other similar outdoor chair. The armrest cover is constructed so that it remains cool when exposed to direct sunlight and high temperatures. The armrest cover includes an elongated body having a flat lower surface so that the body can be positioned directly on the surface of an armrest of a chair. The body is composed of a cushioned or padded material so as to provide comfort to a user. A heat cover is removably securable to the body, wherein the heat cover can be removed when the chair is desired to be used, such that heat cover prevents the body from increasing in temperature. The body further includes one or more pairs of straps thereon, wherein the straps can be secured around the armrest of the chair so as to secure the armrest cover thereon.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 ) An armrest cover for the armrest of a lawn chair, comprising:
an elongated body having a first end and a second end; one or more pairs of straps extending from said elongated body and adapted to be removably secured about an armrest of a chair so as to secure said elongated body onto said armrest; a heat cover removably positionable on said elongated body so as to inhibit heating of said elongated body from exposure to sunlight.

2 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said elongated body comprises a flat lower surface.

3 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said elongated body comprises a semi-circular cross sectional area.

4 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said one or more pairs of straps comprises a first strap extending from a first side of said elongated body and a second strap extending from a second side of said elongated body, wherein said first strap includes a first fastener thereon, and wherein said second strap includes a second fastener thereon, wherein said first fastener removably engages said second fastener so as to secure said first strap and said second strap in a loop configuration.

5 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said elongated body is composed of a heat reflective material.

6 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said heat cover comprises a fastener thereon adapted to engage with a fastener disposed on said elongated body.

7 ) The armrest cover of claim 1 , wherein said heat cover is composed of a stretchable material.

8 ) An armrest cover for the armrest of a lawn chair, comprising:
an elongated body having a first end and a second end; one or more pairs of straps extending from said elongated body and adapted to be removably secured about an armrest of a chair so as to secure said elongated body onto said armrest; wherein said elongated body is composed of a heat reflective material adapted to prevent said elongated body from becoming heated upon exposure to sunlight.

9 ) The armrest cover of claim 8 , wherein said elongated body comprises a flat lower surface.

10 ) The armrest cover of claim 8 , wherein said elongated body comprises a semi-circular cross sectional area.

11 ) The armrest cover of claim 8 , wherein said one or more pairs of straps comprises a first strap extending from a first side of said elongated body and a second strap extending from a second side of said elongated body, wherein said first strap includes a first fastener thereon, and wherein said second strap includes a second fastener thereon, wherein said first fastener removably engages said second fastener so as to secure said first strap and said second strap in a loop configuration.
