Eyebrow and/or eyelash tinting kit for home application
Abstract
An eyebrow and eyelash tinting kit for home application provides a paste in the lower compartment and a liquid in the upper compartment. A two-part cylindrical container is provided, with a thin membrane between the two compartments. The kit also provides a mascara wand and one or more pads pre-soaked with cleansing solution. The user twists the upper segment of the container, which ruptures the membrane to release the liquid into the lower compartment. The upper segment is removed, and the mascara wand is used to thoroughly mix the liquid with the paste. The resulting mixture is applied on clean eyelashes and eyebrows for 20 minutes, then removed using the pads.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . The first exemplary embodiment is comprised of three components: a two-part cylindrical container 12 , a mascara wand 11 , and one or more pads 10 which are pre-soaked with cleansing solution. The container 12 is divided into an upper segment 14 enclosing an upper compartment 14 A, and a lower segment 15 enclosing a lower compartment 15 A, and provides a thin membrane 14 B between the two segments. A paste is provided in the lower compartment 15 A and a liquid in the upper compartment 14 A. Preferably, when packaged the wand 11 is removably affixed to the top surface of the container 12 , while the pads 10 are provided in a sealed, waterproof packet.
2 . To use the first exemplary embodiment the user twists the upper segment 14 of the container 12 , which ruptures the membrane 14 B to release the liquid into the lower compartment 15 A. The upper segment 14 is removed, and the wand 12 is used to thoroughly mix the liquid with the paste. The resulting mixture is applied on clean eyelashes and eyebrows for 20 minutes, using the wand 12 . The mixture is then promptly removed using the pads 10 .
3 . The pads 10 are preferably manufactured from a flexible, durable fabric which is absorbent, such as cotton or a cotton-rayon blend. The wand 11 and the container 12 are preferably manufactured from a rigid, durable material, such as plastic. The membrane 14 B is preferably manufactured from a flexible, durable material which is easily ruptured, such as waxed paper or flexible plastic.
4 . Components, component sizes, and materials listed above are preferable, but artisans will recognize that alternate components and materials could be selected without altering the scope of the invention.
5 . While the foregoing written description of the invention enables one of the ordinary skill to make and use what is presently considered to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill in the art will understand and appreciate the existence of variations, combinations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should, therefore, not be limited by the above described embodiment, method, and example, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
