Abstract

A system, apparatus, or method is provided for imaging and for capturing visuals to provide image manipulation options for increasing resolution of subject images. A system, apparatus or method for increasing resolution of subject images using a camera to deliver unexposed photographic emulsion or a digital image and to generate images of greater resolution by modifying digital images or modifying digital and emulsion images.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method, comprising:
receiving, by a system including a processor, first image data of a scene captured at a first resolution; receiving second image data of the scene captured at a second resolution less than the first resolution; and generating a third image of the scene from the first image data and the second image data.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
capturing the scene at the first resolution at a first capture rate; and capturing the scene at the second resolution at a second capture rate greater than the first capture rate.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the third image of the scene from the first image data and the second image data includes generating the third image having a third resolution greater than the second resolution.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the third image of the scene from the first image data and the second image data includes generating the third image having a third resolution that is equal to the first resolution.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the third image further comprises:
identifying an object represented by a portion of the first image data; determining a position of the object as represented in the second image data; and generating the third image, wherein the third image represents the object according to the position of the object as represented in the second image data.

         6 . A system, comprising:
an image capture device configured to obtain a first image representing at least one object at a first resolution and obtain a second image representing the at least one object at a second resolution that is different than the first resolution; and an image processor configured to generate a third image from the first image and the second image.

7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the image capture device is further configured to obtain positional information of the at least one object represented in at least a portion of the second image, and the image processor is further configured to generate the third image using the positional information of the at least one object.

8 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the third image includes a third resolution that is greater than the second resolution, and the second resolution is less than the first resolution.

9 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the image capture device is further configured to capture the first image at a first capture rate, and capture the second image at a second capture rate that is greater than the first capture rate.

         10 . The system of claim 6 , wherein
the at least one object of the first image is positioned according to first positional information, and the image processor is further configured to determine second positional information of the at least one object from the second image that is different than the first positional information, and generate the at least one object in the third image with the second positional information.

         11 . A device, comprising:
a memory storing computer-executable instructions; and a processor, communicatively coupled to the memory, configured to facilitate execution of the computer-executable instructions to at least: receive first image data of a scene at a first resolution and second image data of the scene at a second resolution less than the first resolution; and generate a third image of the scene from the first image data and the second image data.

12 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first image data of the scene is received at a first capture rate, and the second image data of the scene is received at a second capture rate that is greater than the first capture rate.

13 . The device of claim 12 , wherein the second capture rate is a multiple of the first capture rate.

14 . The device of claim 13 , wherein the second capture rate is 24 times the first capture rate.

15 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the first image data corresponds to a key frame and the second image data corresponds to a wire frame.

16 . The device of claim 11 , wherein the third image includes a third resolution that is configurable in a range from a resolution that is higher than the second resolution to the first resolution.

17 . A computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-executable instructions that, in response to execution, cause a device comprising a processor to perform operations, comprising:
receiving first image data of a scene having at least one object located according to first positional information, the first image data having a first resolution; receiving second image data of the scene having the at least one object located according to second positional information, the second image data having a second resolution lower than the first resolution; and generating third image data of the scene from the first image data and the second image data.

18 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the operations further comprises:
capturing the first image data of the scene at a first frame rate; and capturing the second image data of the scene at a second frame rate that is greater than the first frame rate.

19 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the receiving the second image data includes receiving the second image data including a plurality of frames captured of the scene at sequential times, wherein the generating the third image data of the scene includes generating a same number of frames as the plurality of frames that have a resolution greater than the second resolution.

20 . The computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the generating the third image data includes generating the third image data based on the first positional information and the second positional information.
