Frame drawing method and associated mobile electronic device

Abstract

A mobile electronic device is provided by the present invention. The mobile electronic device is configured to display a frame, which includes an image region and an icon. The icon is associated with a status of an application program of the electronic device, and the image region includes the icon. The mobile electronic device includes a memory and a processing unit. The processing unit stores an image of the icon into the memory, updates the image of the icon according to the status of the application program, and stores the updated image of the icon into the memory. When displaying the image region, the icon is drawn by using the updated image of the icon in the memory.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A frame drawing method, applied for drawing a frame of an electronic device, the frame comprising an image region and an icon, the icon being associated with a status of an application program of the electronic device, the image region comprising the icon, the frame drawing method comprising:
 drawing an image of the icon, and storing the image of the icon into a memory;   updating the image of the icon according to the status of the application program;   storing the updated image of the icon into the memory; and   drawing the icon by the updated image of the icon in the memory when drawing the image region.   
     
     
         2 . The frame drawing method according to  claim 1 , wherein the image of the icon and the updated image of the icon are stored at same memory addresses in the memory. 
     
     
         3 . The frame drawing method according to  claim 1 , wherein the step of updating the image of the icon according to the status of the application program comprises:
 receiving an updating command associated with the status of the application program.   
     
     
         4 . An electronic device, configured to draw a frame, the frame comprising an image region and an icon, the icon being associated with a status of an application program of the electronic device, the image region comprising the icon, the electronic device comprising:
 a memory; and   a processing unit, configured to store an image of the icon into the memory, to update the image of the icon according to the status of the application program, storing the updated image of the icon into the memory, and to draw the icon by the updated image of the icon in the memory when drawing the image region.   
     
     
         5 . The electronic device according to  claim 4 , wherein the image of the icon and the updated image of the icon are stored at same memory addresses in the memory. 
     
     
         6 . The electronic device according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a receiving unit, configured to receive an updating command associated with the status of the application program.
