Stadium Seat Engaging Device
Abstract
A device for engaging a folding stadium seat and restricting upward movement of the seat base is presented herein. In particular, the device includes an attachment member removably attachable to a seat frame member and at least one seat engaging extension disposed outwardly from the attachment member. The seat engaging extension member is selectively disposed into an engaging relation with the seat base of the folding stadium seat and is configured to hold the seat base in a down or horizontal position. The attachment member includes a base panel and at least two side wall panels disposed outwardly there from in order to define a receiving area for disposition at least partially around the seat frame member of the folding stadium seat.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe invention claimed is:
1 . An insertable apparatus for modifying the difficulty level of a cornhole game, where said apparatus is comprised of a thin circular disk which has an outer diameter larger than the standard game board aperture and an inner diameter smaller than the standard game board aperture and said circular disk is affixed to a ring which has an outer diameter slightly smaller than the standard game board target aperture and an inner diameter sufficiently large to allow free passage of the game bag and where the apparatus is inserted into the game board aperture from the side of the game board facing the players.
1 . A device for engaging a folding stadium seat, the stadium seat comprising a folding seat base and at least one adjacent seat frame member, said device comprising:
an attachment member removably attachable to the seat frame member of the folding stadium seat, said attachment member comprising a base panel and at least two side wall panels disposed outwardly from opposite ends of said base panel, said at least two side wall panels and said base panel being configured to define a receiving area for disposition at least partially around the seat frame member of the folding stadium seat, at least one seat engaging extension disposed outwardly from said attachment member and into a selective engagement with the seat base of the folding stadium seat, said at least one engaging extension configured to hold the seat base in a down position.
2 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein said seat engaging extension comprises a lower engaging surface for engagement with the seat base.
3 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein said seat engaging extension comprises an outer reinforced end.
4 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein said seat engaging extension is linearly aligned with said base of said attachment member.
5 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein said seat engaging extension is substantially parallel to said base of said attachment member.
6 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein each of said at least two side wall panels of said attachment member comprises at least one inwardly disposed angular bend toward said receiving area.
7 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein each of said at least two side wall panels of said attachment member comprise an outer engaging arms for engagement with the seat frame.
8 . The device as recited in claim 1 wherein said attachment member comprises an at least partially resilient construction.
9 . The device as recited in claim 8 wherein said attachment member comprises an at least partially flexible construction.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
