Recording/transferring program, recording/transferring apparatus, and recording/transferring method

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a recording/transferring program that causes an information processing apparatus to perform the steps of: generating programming information for programming the information processing apparatus to record a particular content; starting recording of the particular content onto a recording medium in accordance with the programming information; and automatically transferring, upon completion of the recording of the particular content onto the recording medium, the particular content read out from the recording medium to an external device connected to the information processing apparatus so as to be capable of communicating therewith.

         2 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer-readable instructions thereon, the computer-readable instructions, when executed by a processor of an apparatus, cause the apparatus to perform a method comprising:
 programming the apparatus to download content data from a server at a set time;   downloading first content data when the set time has come;   automatically transferring the first content data from the apparatus to a device external to the apparatus; and   downloading second content data from the server concurrently with the transfer of the downloaded first content data to the device.   
     
     
         3 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 causing the apparatus to perform, prior to said automatically transferring step, detection of whether or not the device external to the apparatus is communicatively connected to the apparatus.   
     
     
         4 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 causing the apparatus to repeatedly transmit a request for updating the content data at predetermined intervals.   
     
     
         5 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 2 , wherein downloading of the second content data is started upon completion of downloading of the first content data. 
     
     
         6 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 2 , wherein the first and second content data include audio files. 
     
     
         7 . A method for an apparatus, comprising:
 programming, with circuitry, the apparatus to download content data from a server at a set time;   downloading, with the circuitry, first content data when the set time has come;   automatically transferring, with the circuitry, the first content data from the apparatus to a device external to the apparatus; and   downloading, with the circuitry, second content data from the server concurrently with the transfer of the downloaded first content data to the device.   
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 7 , further comprising:
 causing the apparatus to perform, prior to said automatically transferring step, detection of whether or not the device external to the apparatus is communicatively connected to the apparatus.   
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 7 , further comprising:
 causing the apparatus to repeatedly transmit a request for updating the content data at predetermined intervals.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 7 , wherein downloading of the second content data is started upon completion of downloading of the first content data. 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 7 , wherein the first and second content data include audio files. 
     
     
         12 . A an apparatus, comprising:
 circuitry configured to   program the apparatus to download content data from a server at a set time;   download first content data when the set time has come;   automatically transfer the first content data from the apparatus to a device external to the apparatus; and   download second content data from the server concurrently with the transfer of the downloaded first content data to the device.   
     
     
         13 . The apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to cause the apparatus to perform, prior to automatically transfer of the first content data, detection of whether or not the device external to the apparatus is communicatively connected to the apparatus. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to cause the apparatus to repeatedly transmit a request for updating the content data at predetermined intervals. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the downloading of the second content data is started upon completion of downloading of the first content data. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the first and second content data include audio files.
