Method for saving fluid in a drinking container
Abstract
A method for saving and reusing fluid content in a drinking container, the method includes providing a resealable label having a body with a puncturable portion and aligning the puncturable portion with an opening on the container. The method also includes securing the resealable label to the container such that the puncturable portion overlays the opening on the container to seal the fluid within the container. Further, the method includes puncturing the puncturable portion with a straw and inserting the straw through the drinking container opening and at least partially into the container.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for saving fluid content in an opened drinking container, the method comprising:
providing a resealable label having a body with a puncturable portion; aligning the puncturable portion with an opening on the container; securing the resealable label to the container such that the puncturable portion overlays the opening on the container to seal the fluid within the container; and puncturing the puncturable portion with a straw and inserting the straw through the drinking container opening and at least partially into the container.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein securing the resealable label to the container includes securing the resealable label to the container with an adhesive.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein aligning the puncturable portion with the opening of the container comprises aligning the puncturable portion with an opening on a juice box.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising resealing the container by the following steps:
providing a second resealable label having a body with a puncturable portion; aligning the puncturable portion with the opening of the container; and securing the second resealable label to the container such that the puncturable portion overlays the container opening to seal any unused fluid content inside the container.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein securing the second resealable label to the container comprises securing the second resealable label over the resealable label such that the puncturable portion of the second resealable label overlays and seals the opening on the container.
6 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising attaching the straw to at least one of the resealable label or the second resealable label to store the straw with the drinking container.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the resealable label having a body with a puncturable portion includes a body wherein the entire body is the puncturable portion.
8 . A method for using and saving liquid in a drinking container, the method comprising:
opening the drinking container to enable fluid to exit from the container through an opening on the drinking container; providing a label having a body with a puncturable portion; aligning the puncturable portion with the container opening; and securing the resealable label to the container such that the puncturable portion overlays and seals the container to prevent fluid from flowing through the container opening.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein securing the resealable label to the container includes securing the resealable label to the container with an adhesive.
10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein aligning the puncturable portion with the opening of the container comprises aligning the puncturable portion with an opening on a juice box.
11 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising securing a straw to the resealable label when the resealable label is secured to the container to store the straw.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising puncturing the puncturable portion to enable fluid to flow from the container and through the opening.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising puncturing the puncturable portion with a straw and inserting the straw through the container opening to enable fluid to exit from the container.
14 . The method of claim 8 , wherein providing the label having a body with a puncturable portion includes a providing a label wherein the entirety of the label is puncturable.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
