Abstract

A hand warmer pouch in which a tubular cavity lays flat against the body when hands are not inserted into the tubular cavity. The hand warmer pouch can have an elliptical shape with curved ends to provide an ergonomic shape. The outer shell of the hand warmer pouch is formed of a water resistant fabric. The inside of the tubular cavity is formed of an insulation fabric. The ends of the belt can be sewn onto the rear of the hand warmer pouch. A gripping portion can be attached to an inner surface of each end of the belt adjacent to the attached ends.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A hand warmer pouch comprising;
 a body and   a tubular cavity formed on a front of the body,   wherein each end of the tubular cavity is adapted to receive a wearer's hands and the tubular cavity lays flat against a body of the wearer when the wearer's hands are not inserted in the tubular cavity.   
     
     
         2 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  wherein the body has an elliptical shape with curved ends. 
     
     
         3 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  wherein ends of the tubular cavity are angled, the tubular cavity has a longer length at a bottom than at a top. 
     
     
         4 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  wherein an outer shell of the hand warmer pouch is formed of a water resistant fabric. 
     
     
         5 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 4  wherein the fabric is flexible. 
     
     
         6 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 4  wherein the water resistant fabric is neoprene treated with a water repellant spray. 
     
     
         7 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  wherein an inside of the tubular cavity is formed of an insulation fabric. 
     
     
         8 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 7  wherein the insulation fabric is a fleece material. 
     
     
         9 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  further comprising a belt, ends of the belt are attached to the body. 
     
     
         10 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 9  wherein the belt is formed of a plurality of straps, a female portion of a release buckle is attached to a first section of a first one of the straps and a male portion of the release buckle is coupled to a second section of a second one of the straps. 
     
     
         11 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 10  further comprising an adjustment buckle received through an end of the second one of the straps and the second one of the straps can be doubled over itself and threaded through the adjustment buckle. 
     
     
         12 . The hand warmer of  claim 10  wherein the release buckle is a side release buckle including a release flange on either side of the buckle, the release flanges being released to release the female portion from the male portion of the release buckle. 
     
     
         13 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 10  wherein the release buckle is a magnetic release buckle including a pair of magnets on either side of the buckle, the magnets being released from one another to release the female portion from the male portion of the release buckle. 
     
     
         14 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 13  wherein the magnets are twisted from one another for releasing the magnets. 
     
     
         15 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 13  wherein the magnets slide from one another releasing the magnets. 
     
     
         16 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 9  wherein the belt includes a plurality of retainer compartments, the retainer compartments adapted for receiving bullets. 
     
     
         17 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 9  wherein the belt includes a plurality of retainer compartments, the retainer compartments adapted for receiving shells. 
     
     
         18 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 9  further comprising a gripping portion attached to an inner surface of the each end of the first and second straps adjacent to the attached ends. 
     
     
         19 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 18  wherein the gripping portion is formed of rubber, silicone or rubberized silicone. 
     
     
         20 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 1  further comprising a utility pocket positioned on an inner surface of the tubular cavity. 
     
     
         21 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 20  wherein an inner wall of the utility pocket forms an inner wall of the tubular cavity, the inner wall of the utility pocket being formed of an insulation fabric, wherein the utility pocket being adapted to receive a heating element and heat from the heating element being conducted from the utility pocket to said tubular cavity. 
     
     
         22 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 20  further comprising a closure device for closing the pocket. 
     
     
         23 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 22  wherein the closure device comprises a zipper. 
     
     
         24 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 22  wherein the closure device comprises a bonded zipper. 
     
     
         25 . The hand warmer pouch of  claim 24  wherein the bonded zipper is waterproof.
