Abstract

A quick drying textile includes a composite fabric layer and a moisture absorbing fabric layer. The composite fabric layer includes a plurality of hydrophobic regions and a plurality of hydrophilic regions. The moisture absorbing fabric layer is combined with the composite fabric layer, whereby moisture is collected in the hydrophilic regions and is absorbed by the moisture absorbing fabric layer for vaporization.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A quick drying textile, comprising:
a composite fabric layer comprising a plurality of hydrophobic regions and a plurality of hydrophilic regions; and a moisture absorbing fabric layer superimposedly combined with the composite fabric layer, whereby moisture is collected in the hydrophilic regions of said composite fabric layer and is absorbed by the moisture absorbing fabric layer for vaporization; the improvement which comprises: the hydrophobic regions or the hydrophilic regions being jacquard patterns.

2 . The quick drying textile of claim 1 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the composite fabric layer is greater than that of the hydrophilic regions to the composite fabric layer.

3 . The quick drying textile of claim 1 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the hydrophilic regions is in arrange from about 9 to about 2.

         4 . (canceled)

5 . The quick drying textile of claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the moisture absorbing fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 1.0 mm, and a thickness of the composite fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 0.6 mm.

6 . The quick drying textile of claim 1 , wherein the hydrophilic regions and the moisture absorbing fabric layer are made of hydrophilic yarn.

7 . A clothing made of the quick drying textile of claim 1 , wherein the composite fabric layer is at an inner side of the clothing, and the moisture absorbing fabric layer is at an outer side of the clothing.

8 . The clothing of claim 7 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the composite fabric layer is greater than that of the hydrophilic regions to the composite fabric layer.

9 . The clothing of claim 7 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the hydrophilic regions is in a range from about 9 to about 2.

         10 . (canceled)

11 . The clothing of claim 7 , wherein a thickness of the moisture absorbing fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 1.0 mm, and a thickness of the composite fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 0.6 mm.

12 . The clothing of claim 7 , wherein the hydrophilic regions and the moisture absorbing fabric layer are made of hydrophilic yarn.

13 . A method for fabricating a quick drying textile, comprising:
jacquard weaving a hydrophilic yarn with a hydrophobic yarn to form a dual-layer textile comprising a moisture absorbing fabric layer and a composite fabric layer superimposedly combined with the moisture absorbing fabric layer, wherein the composite fabric layer comprises a plurality of hydrophobic regions and a plurality of hydrophilic regions, whereby moisture is collected in the hydrophilic regions of the composite fabric layer and is absorbed by the moisture absorbing fabric layer for vaporization; the improvement which comprises: the hydrophobic regions or the hydrophilic regions being jacquard patterns.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the composite fabric layer is greater than that of the hydrophilic regions to the composite fabric layer.

15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein an area ratio of the hydrophobic regions to the hydrophilic regions is in a range from about 9 to about 2.

         16 . (canceled)

17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein a thickness of the moisture absorbing fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 1.0 mm, and a thickness of the composite fabric layer is in a range from about 0.2 mm to about 0.6 mm.

18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the hydrophilic regions and the moisture absorbing fabric layer are made of hydrophilic yarn.
