Abstract

An embodiment of the invention has been made to solve a problem that it is impossible to store externally transmitted job information if a printer apparatus is in a hard-off state and it is, therefore, necessary to store the job information in an external apparatus on the transmission side. In the embodiment, a wireless communication unit which can transmit/receive data even if no power is supplied receives job information from an external terminal, and stores it in a non-volatile memory. When an information processing apparatus is supplied with power, and enters a normal activation state, it executes the job stored in the non-volatile memory.

         16 . An apparatus which causes a device to print an image after communication with the device, using NFC, comprising:
 a display unit; and   a processor,   wherein the processor causes the display unit to display a first screen in which an image to be printed by the device is included and a second screen in which a print setting for printing the image can be selected,   the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen and the apparatus detects the device by the NFC, and   the processor does not cause the device to print the image in a case where the display unit is displaying the second screen.   
     
     
         17 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the display unit comprises a touch panel. 
     
     
         18 . The apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen, the apparatus detects the device by the NFC, and a user touches the touch panel. 
     
     
         19 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen, and then the apparatus detects the device by the NFC. 
     
     
         20 . The apparatus according to  claim 18 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen in which the image and a display item for designating print of the image are included, and
 the processor causes the device to print the image in a case where the apparatus detects the device by the NFC, and the user touches an area in the touch panel corresponding to the display item.   
     
     
         21 . The apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen in which the image and a display item for designating display of the second screen are included, and
 the processor causes the display unit to display the second screen in a case where a user touches an area in the touch panel corresponding to the display item.   
     
     
         22 . The apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to terminate display of the second screen in accordance with a touch by a user in a case where the second screen is displayed,
 and then the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen.   
     
     
         23 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting a number of copies for the printing. 
     
     
         24 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting a paper size for the printing. 
     
     
         25 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting a paper type for the printing. 
     
     
         26 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting print quality for the printing. 
     
     
         27 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen which includes an image selected from a plurality of images by a user and information indicating that the image is a print target by the device. 
     
     
         28 . The apparatus according to  claim 27 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen which includes the plurality of images and the information indicating the image selected by the plurality of images. 
     
     
         29 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein in a case where the print setting is selected in the second screen, the processor causes the device to print the image in accordance with the print setting. 
     
     
         30 . The apparatus according to  claim 16 , wherein the apparatus is a mobile phone. 
     
     
         31 . An apparatus which causes a device to print an image after communication with the device using a communication method in which the apparatus is close to the device, comprising:
 a display unit; and   a processor,   wherein the processor causes the display unit to display a first screen in which an image to be printed by the device is included and a second screen in which a print setting for printing the image can be selected,   the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen and the apparatus is close to the device, and   the processor does not cause the device to print the image in a case where the display unit is displaying the second screen.   
     
     
         32 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the display unit comprises a touch panel. 
     
     
         33 . The apparatus according to  claim 32 , wherein the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen, the apparatus is close to the device, and a user touches the touch panel. 
     
     
         34 . The apparatus according to  claim 33 , wherein the processor causes the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen, and then the user touches the touch panel in a state where the apparatus is close to the device. 
     
     
         35 . The apparatus according to  claim 33 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen in which the image and a display item for designating print of the image are included, and
 the processor causes the device to print the image in a case where the apparatus is close to the device, and the user touches an area in the touch panel corresponding to the display item.   
     
     
         36 . The apparatus according to  claim 32 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen in which the image and a display item for designating display of the second screen are included, and
 the processor causes the display unit to display the second screen in a case where a user touches an area in the touch panel corresponding to the display item.

The apparatus according to  claim 32 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to terminate display of the second screen in accordance with a touch by a user in a case where the second screen is displayed, and then the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen. 
     
     
         38 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting a number of copies for the printing. 
     
     
         39 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the second screen includes a display item for selecting a paper size for the printing.

         43 . The apparatus according to  claim 42 , wherein the processor causes the display unit to display the first screen which includes the plurality of images and the information indicating the image selected by the plurality of images. 
     
     
         44 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein in a case where the print setting is selected in the second screen, the processor causes the device to print the image in accordance with the print setting. 
     
     
         45 . The apparatus according to  claim 31 , wherein the apparatus is a mobile phone. 
     
     
         46 . A method for an apparatus which causes a device to print an image after communication with the device via NFC, comprising:
 causing a display unit to display a first screen in which an image to be printed by the device is included and a second screen in which a print setting for printing the image can be selected; and   causing the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen and the apparatus detects the device by the NFC,   wherein the apparatus does not cause the device to print the image in a case where the display unit is displaying the second screen.   
     
     
         47 . A method for an apparatus which causes a device to print an image after
 communication with the device using a communication method in which the apparatus is close to the device, comprising:   causing a display unit to display a first screen in which an image to be printed by the device is included and a second screen in which a print setting for printing the image can be selected; and   causing the device to print the image included in the first screen in a case where the display unit displays the first screen, and the apparatus is close to the device,   wherein the apparatus does not cause the device to print the image in a case where the display unit is displaying the second screen.
