Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and/or treating a stroke or a degenerative brain disease comprising: at least two substances selected from the group consisting of egg yolk lecithin, glycerol, sodium oleate, medium chain triglyceride and refined fish oil; olive oil; and soybean oil. The composition of the present invention has an excellent neuroprotective effect but no toxicity or side effects, and thus can be effectively and safely used for preventing, treating or ameliorating a stroke or a degenerative brain disease.

1 . A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating stroke or degenerative brain disease comprising at least two substances selected from a group consisting of: egg yolk lecithin, glycerol, sodium oleate, medium chain triglyceride and refined fish oil; olive oil; and soybean oil.
2 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 , the pharmaceutical composition comprises olive oil, soybean oil, medium chain triglyceride and refined fish oil.
3 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 2 , the pharmaceutical composition comprises 0.1-20 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the medium chain triglyceride and 0.1-10 wt % of the refined fish oil.
4 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 , the pharmaceutical composition comprises olive oil, soybean oil, egg yolk lecithin, glycerol and sodium oleate.
5 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 4 , the pharmaceutical composition comprises 1.0-50 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.01-5 wt % of the egg yolk lecithin, 2.25 wt % of the glycerol and 0.01-1 wt % of the sodium oleate.
6 . The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1 , wherein the degenerative brain disease is selected from a group consisting of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's chorea, Pick's disease and Creutzfeld-Jacob disease.
7 . A health functional food for preventing or ameliorating stroke or degenerative brain disease comprising at least two substances selected from the group consisting of egg yolk lecithin, glycerol, sodium oleate, medium chain triglyceride and refined fish oil; olive oil; and soybean oil.
8 . The health functional food according to claim 7 , the health functional food comprises 0.1-20 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the medium chain triglyceride and 0.1-10 wt % of the refined fish oil.
9 . The health functional food according to claim 7 , the health functional food comprises 1-50 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.01-5 wt % of the egg yolk lecithin, 2.25 wt % of the glycerol and 0.01-1 wt % of the sodium oleate.
10 . A method of preventing, ameliorating or treating stroke or degenerative brain disease by administering the composition comprising at least two substances selected from the group consisting of egg yolk lecithin, glycerol, sodium oleate, medium chain triglyceride and refined fish oil; olive oil; and soybean oil.
11 . The method according to claim 10 , wherein the composition comprises 0.1-20 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the medium chain triglyceride and 0.1-10 wt % of the refined fish oil.
12 . The method according to claim 10 , wherein the composition comprises 1.0-50 wt % of the olive oil, 0.1-20 wt % of the soybean oil, 0.01-5 wt % of the egg yolk lecithin, 2.25 wt % of the glycerol and 0.01-1 wt % of the sodium oleate.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
