Color-Changing Lighting Dynamic Control

Abstract

A control gateway for colored or color-changing lighting fixtures to allow access to local and remote control systems with real time control with power backup for security triggering using an established color code to indicate the nature of the emergency.

         25 . A method of controlling emergency color-changing lights on a premises, the method comprising:
 connecting a premises network and a monitoring service network, via the internet, the premises network having an electronic, monitored security system, a color-changing light controller, at least one color-changing light, a color-changing light gateway, and an internet router, and the monitoring service network having a server;   connecting the monitoring service network and a color-changing light content administrator network having a server, via the internet;   transmitting subscription data between the monitoring service network, the color-changing light content administrator, and an Enhanced 9-1-1 network having a server; and   controlling the color-changing light controller of the premises network by transmitting data to the premises network from the monitoring service network, the color-changing light content administrator network, or the Enhanced 9-1-1 network.

The method of  claim 25 , wherein transmitting subscription data between the monitoring service network and the color-changing light content administrator further comprises: transmitting a database of color-changing light content subscribers or a database of monitoring service subscribers, comparing the databases, and verifying a subscriber is on both databases.

The method of  claim 29 , transmitting subscription data between the monitoring service network and the color-changing light content administrator further comprises: transmitting data regarding the security system, color-changing light controller, color-changing light, color-changing light gateway, and the internet router of the premises network. 
     
     
         31 . The method of  claim 25 , wherein the security system and gateway are connected and communicate to each other. 
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 25 , further comprising transmitting an Application Programming Interface (API) between the color-changing light content administrator network and the monitoring service network.

         34 . The method of  claim 25 , wherein the internet router of the premises network is directly connected to one or both of the monitored security system and gateway. 
     
     
         35 . The method of  claim 25 , wherein the monitored security system includes software and hardware located on the premises, and wherein the monitored security system interfaces directly with or incorporates the color-changing light controller.
