Abstract
A gun stock holder is provided. The gun stock holder includes an outer wall having a bottom rim formed to support the gun stock holder in an upright position when resting on a surface. An inner wall meets the outer wall at a top rim and is disposed within the outer wall. The inner wall forms an internal cavity in between. The internal cavity has an oval shape and is sized to snugly receive a buttstock of a rifle or shotgun.

1 . A gun stock holder comprising:
an outer wall comprising a bottom rim formed to support the gun stock holder in an upright position when resting on a surface; and an inner wall meeting the outer wall at a top rim and disposed within the outer wall forming an internal cavity having an oval shape and sized to snugly receive a buttstock of a rifle.
2 . The gun stock holder of claim 1 , further comprising a bottom surface formed at a bottom edge of the inner wall, wherein the bottom surface is elevated above the bottom rim of outer wall.
3 . The gun stock holder of claim 2 , wherein a plurality of strap slots are formed through the bottom surface.
4 . The gun stock holder of claim 2 , further comprising at least one mounting hole boss secured to the bottom surface and comprising a mounting hole therethrough.
5 . The gun stock holder of claim 4 , wherein the at least one mounting hole boss is a first mounting hole boss and a second mounting hole boss.
6 . The gun stock holder of claim 1 , wherein the outer wall comprises an end slot sized to receive a strap.
7 . The gun stock holder of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of anti slip pegs secured to the bottom rim.
8 . The gun stock holder of claim 1 , further comprising a magnetic gun holder operable to releasable retain the barrel of the rifle.
9 . A method of mounting a gun comprising:
providing a gun stock holder comprising: an outer wall comprising a bottom rim; and an inner wall meeting the outer wall at a top rim and disposed within the outer wall forming an internal cavity having an oval shape; placing the bottom rim on a surface; and placing a buttstock of a rifle within the internal cavity.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the gun stock holder comprises a bottom surface formed at a bottom edge of the inner wall, wherein the bottom surface is elevated above the bottom rim of outer wall.
11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the bottom surface further comprises at least one mounting hole boss secured to the bottom surface and comprising a mounting hole therethrough
