Sports shorts

Abstract

The present invention provides for a sport shorts comprising: a waistband having top and bottom sides, the top side having an opening for receiving a user's waist, and the bottom side leading to at least two extendable portions ending in at least two opening, and the openings are designed to receive the user's thighs, the extendable portions forming an interior surface and an exterior surface, the extendable portion comprising front and rear sides, the extendable portion forming a crotch portion situated in between said two openings; at least one gusset extending from the waistband on the rear side of the extendable portion through the crotch portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A sport shorts comprising:
 a waistband having top and bottom sides, said top side having an opening for receiving a user's waist, said bottom side leading to at least two extendable portions ending in at least two opening, said openings are designed to receive the user's thighs, said extendable portions forming an interior surface and an exterior surface, said extendable portion comprising front and rear sides, said extendable portions forming a crotch portion situated in between said two openings;   at least one gusset extending from said waistband on said rear side of said extendable portion through said crotch portion; and   at least three pockets situated on said interior surface of said extendable portions, at least two of said pockets designed to receive padding, and at least one pocket designed to receive a cup.   
     
     
         2 . The shorts of  claim 1  wherein said gusset is constructed of stretchable material. 
     
     
         3 . The shorts of  claim 2  wherein said extended portions are constructed of stretchable material, the percentage of the stretchable material on said gusset is greater than the percentage of the stretchable material on said extendable portions. 
     
     
         4 . The shorts of  claim 1  further comprising padding, said two pockets designed to receive said padding is situated on said extended portion at a location adjacent to the user's thighs. 
     
     
         5 . The shorts of  claim 1  further comprising a cup, said pocket designed to receive said cup is situated adjacent to said crotch portion. 
     
     
         6 . The shorts of  claim 1  wherein said gusset extends from said waistband on said rear side of said extended portions to said waistband on said front side of extended portion and covers said crotch portion. 
     
     
         7 . The shorts of  claim 1  wherein said gusset extends to cover a portion of the area adjacent to said opening of said extendable portion to cover at least a portion of the user's thighs. 
     
     
         8 . The shorts of  claim 1  further comprising a securing device for closing an opening of each of said pockets to said interior surface of said extendable portions. 
     
     
         9 . The shorts of  claim 1  further comprising at least one removable loop for receiving a belt. 
     
     
         10 . A sport shorts comprising:
 a waistband having top and bottom sides, said top side having an opening for receiving a user's waist, said bottom side leading to at least two extendable portions ending in at least two opening, said openings are designed to receive the user's thighs, said extendable portions forming an interior surface and an exterior surface, said extendable portion comprising front and rear sides, said extendable portions forming a crotch portion situated in between said two openings; and   at least one stretchable portion extending from said waistband at said rear side of said extendable portion and covering said crotch portion, said stretchable portion is designed to stretch when the user is making a kicking motion.   
     
     
         11 . The shorts of  claim 10  wherein said stretchable portion extends from said waistband at rear side of said extendable portion to said waistband at said front side of said extendable portion. 
     
     
         12 . The shorts of  claim 11  wherein said stretchable portion covers extends to cover a portion of the area adjacent to said opening of said extendable portion to cover at least a portion of the user's thighs. 
     
     
         13 . The shorts of  claim 11  further comprising at least three pockets situated on said interior surface of said extendable portions. 
     
     
         14 . The shorts of  claim 13  further comprising a securing device for closing an opening of each of said pockets to said interior surface of said extendable portions. 
     
     
         15 . The shorts of  claim 13  wherein at least two of said pockets designed to receive padding, and at least one pocket designed to receive a cup. 
     
     
         16 . The shorts of  claim 1  further comprising at least one removable loop for receiving a belt.
