Abstract
The invention relates to a method of improving grass quality comprising applying an effective amount of a composition containing a phthalocyanine to the grass in the substantial absence of phosphorous acid, monoalkyl esters of phosphorous acid, or salts thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A wettable powder composition for improving grass comprising from 1% to 95% by weight of a phthalocyanine on a solid support, from 0 to 5% by weight of a wetting agent, from 3 to 10% by weight of a dispersant, and wherein the composition does not include phosphorous acid or a salt thereof or a monoalkyl ester of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof.
2 . The wettable powder composition of claim 1 , wherein said phthalocyanine is a copper phthalocyanine.
3 . The wettable powder composition of claim 1 further comprising one or more fungicides, acaricides, and/or insecticides.
4 . The wettable powder composition of claim 1 , wherein said phthalocyanine is selected from the group consisting of Pigment Blue 16, Vat Blue 29, Pigment Blue 15, Heliogen Green GG, Ingrain Blue 14, Ingrain Blue 5, Ingrain Blue 1, Pigment Green 37, and Pigment Green 7.
5 . The wettable powder composition of claim 1 , wherein said phthalocyanine is selected from the group consisting of Pigment Blue 15 and Pigment Green 7.
6 . The wettable powder composition of claim 1 further comprising one or more stabilizers and/or additives.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said composition comprises from about 45% to 55% by weight of a copper phthalocyanine.
8 . A method of improving grass quality comprising applying an effective amount of a composition containing a phthalocyanine and water to a grass, wherein
(i) the composition does not include phosphorous acid or a salt thereof or a monoalkyl ester of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof; and (ii) 0.001 to 10 kg per hectare of said phthalocyanine is applied.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein said composition does not include a carrier.
10 . The method of claim 8 wherein said phthalocyanine is a copper phthalocyanine.
11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein said phthalocyanine is selected from the group consisting of Pigment Blue 16, Vat Blue 29, Pigment Blue 15, Heliogen Green GG, Ingrain Blue 14, Ingrain Blue 5, Ingrain Blue 1, Pigment Green 37, and Pigment Green 7.
12 . The method of claim 8 wherein about 0.01 to about 2 kg per hectare of the phthalocyanine is applied.
(i) the composition does not include phosphorous acid or a salt thereof or a monoalkyl ester of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof;
(ii) the composition does not include metallic ethylene bisdithiocarbamate contact fungicides; and
(iii) about 0.01 to about 2 kg per hectare of the copper phthalocyanine is applied.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein said composition does not include a carrier.
14 . The method according to claim 8 comprising applying an effective amount of a composition containing a copper phthalocyanine and water to the grass, wherein
(i) the composition does not include phosphorous acid or a salt thereof or a monoalkyl ester of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof;
(ii) the composition does not include metallic ethylene bisdithiocarbamate contact fungicides;
(iii) the composition does not include an effective amount of other fungicides; and
(iv) about 0.01 to about 2 kg per hectare of the copper phthalocyanine is applied.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein said composition does not include a carrier.
16 . The method of claim 8 , wherein said composition comprises from about 1% to 95% by weight of a copper phthalocyanine.
17 . The method of claim 8 , wherein said composition comprises from about 45% to 55% by weight of a copper phthalocyanine.
18 . A method of improving grass quality comprising applying an effective amount of a wettable powder composition comprising from 1% to 95% by weight of a phthalocyanine on a solid support, from 0 to 5% by weight of a wetting agent, from 3 to 10% by weight of a dispersant, and wherein the composition does not include phosphorous acid or a salt thereof or of a monoalkyl ester of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof.
19 . The method of claim 18 wherein about 0.01 to about 2 kg per hectare of the phthalocyanine is applied.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein said composition comprises from about 45% to 55% by weight of a copper phthalocyanine.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
