Method for transmitting a broadcast service, and method and apparatus for receiving same

Abstract

A broadcast receiver receives a packetized stream. The broadcast receiver extracts display time information from the header of the received packetized stream, and extracts preparation trigger information including a target service identifier from the payload of the received packetized stream. If a current time is a preparation time designated by the extracted display time information, the broadcast receiver starts to prepare an object corresponding to the target service identifier for activation at a later time.

         21 . A method for a broadcast transmitting device, comprising:
 configuring transport packet for broadcast, wherein the transport packet includes data for triggering an application;   transmitting the transport packet,   wherein the data includes first information representing an identifier for identifying the data, and second information representing specific time presenting the application,   wherein the specific time presenting the application is synchronized with the audio-video.   
     
     
         22 . The method of  claim 21 ,
 wherein the application is activated according to the second information, when the data is transmitted before the specific time represented by the second information, and   the application is activated as soon as the data is transmitted, when the data is transmitted after the specific time represented by the second information.
