Abstract

Systems and methods for the determination of a peptide receptor and use of it to provide a therapeutic C-peptide sensitizer. Specifically to determine a receptor for any peptide provided that the receptor is a G protein coupled receptor (GPCR).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for C-peptide therapy comprising:
for a particular patient, screening a plurality of different biological matters expected to be responsive to C-peptide for G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) expression; identifying an expressed GPCR which is produced in majority of said plurality of biological matters responsive to C-peptide treatment; and testing said GPCR for responsiveness, if it is responsive, then
selecting a C-peptide sensitizer based on the GPCR identified; and
supplying a therapeutic amount of said C-peptide sensitizer along with C-peptide to said patient.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein said GPCR is GPR19.

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein said GPCR is GPR146.

         4 . The method of claim 4 wherein C-peptide sensitizer is anti-GPR146ex.
