Four chamber drinking bottle
Abstract
A multi-chambered drinking bottle for holding and independently dispensing a plurality of distinct liquids. The multi-chambered drinking bottle comprises a base container defined by a receptacle having four discrete compartments, and a removable cap defined by a base cap having four pipes extending downward therefrom and four straw members extending from its top surface. Each of the pipes is integral with a single straw member, together forming a continuous channel through which liquid can be directed through. When the multi-chambered drinking bottle is assembled, each pipe is inserted into a single compartment. The straw members include a spring loaded output spout that enables it to be placed in a dispensing position and a closed position to control the flow of liquid through it.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A multi-chambered drinking bottle, comprising:
a base container having a plurality of discrete compartments defining its interior; a removable base cap having a top surface, wherein said base cap is configured to be removably placed on top of base container and includes a plurality of pipes extending downward therefrom, each with a corresponding straw member that extends from the top surface; said base cap configured such that when in place on the base container, each of said pipes extend into one of said discrete compartments; and said pipes and straw members together forming a continuous channel through which liquid can be directed through, thereby enabling liquid in one of said discrete compartment to be directed out of that discrete compartment through the pipe extending therein and its corresponding straw member.
2 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 1 , wherein the base container includes a grasping device integral therewith.
3 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 2 , wherein the grasping device defines a textured surface.
4 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 2 , wherein the grasping device defines at least one handle.
5 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 1 , wherein the base container additionally includes a rubber bottom and a rubber rim.
6 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 1 , wherein each of said straw members include a docking member and an output spout configured to enable the flow of fluid through the straw member to be selectively blocked and unblocked.
7 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 6 , wherein the output spout is slidably disposed in the docking member, enabling it move between a dispensing position in which the flow of fluid is not blocked and a closed position in which the flow of fluid is blocked.
8 . The multi-chambered drinking bottle of claim 7 , wherein the output spout is spring loaded in the docking member and includes a latch fastener, enabling it to remain in the dispensing position until manual force is applied it into the closed position.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
