Abstract

There is provided an information processing device including: a storage unit that stores a plurality of exercise models each including one or more kinds of measured values measured in time series for a person doing exercise and exercise description data specifying exercise recognized based on the measured values; a selection unit that selects one or more exercise models from the plurality of exercise models stored in the storage unit according to a designated condition; and an output unit that outputs a series of output images representing the measured values and exercise specified by the exercise description data in time series for the exercise model selected by the selection unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 a memory;   a display screen; and   circuitry configured to:
 determine an exercise model from a plurality of exercise models stored in the memory; 
 receive motion data from a motion sensor and location data from a location sensor; and 
 control display of an output image, including a character image indicating the exercise model, on the display screen, 
   wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image in time series so as to indicate a difference in an amount of exercise or level of exercise between a user and the exercise model.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image so as to represent whether the user is ahead of or behind the character image. 
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to display supplementary information regarding the difference. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to display user information including a moving distance of the user from a start of exercise, user's current speed, user's heartbeat, user's breathing rate, date, current time and/or elapsed time from the start of exercise. 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 4 , wherein the circuitry is configured to simultaneously display the user information together with the character image on the display screen. 
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the sensor is configured to perform measurement of the motion data and the location data in parallel during the display of the output image. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the motion sensor includes an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor and/or a heart beat meter. 
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising the motion sensor and the location sensor. 
     
     
         9 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to receive the motion data from the motion sensor of an external device. 
     
     
         10 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 9 , wherein the external device is a wearable device. 
     
     
         11 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 10 , wherein the external device has a wrist-band shape. 
     
     
         12 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to determine the exercise model from the plurality of exercise models stored in the memory based on a condition designated by the user or the information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         13 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the condition includes a type of a person, an attribute of a person, a type of exercise, a range of a measured value and/or a created time of an exercise model. 
     
     
         14 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to control display of a user location position on a map image of the display screen based on the location data. 
     
     
         15 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image in time series based on the location data. 
     
     
         16 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image in time series so that a distance between the character image and the user, represented by the output image, indicates a difference in an amount of exercise or level of exercise between the user and the exercise model. 
     
     
         17 . An image output method using an information processing apparatus including a memory and a display screen, the method comprising:
 determining an exercise model from a plurality of exercise models stored in the memory;   receiving motion data from a motion sensor and location data from a location sensor; and   controlling display of an output image, including a character image indicating the exercise model, on the display screen, wherein controlling includes changing the output image in time series so as to indicate a difference in an amount of exercise or level of exercise between a user and the exercise model.   
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 17 , comprising changing the output image so as to represent whether the user is ahead of or behind the character image. 
     
     
         19 . A computer-readable storage device encoded with computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, perform an image output method comprising:
 determining an exercise model from a plurality of exercise models stored in a memory;   receiving motion data from a motion sensor and location data from a location sensor; and   controlling display of an output image, including a character image indicating the exercise model, on a display screen, wherein controlling includes changing the output image in time series so as to indicate a difference in an amount of exercise or level of exercise between a user and the exercise model.   
     
     
         20 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises changing the output image so as to represent whether the user is ahead of or behind the character image. 
     
     
         21 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises displaying supplementary information regarding the difference. 
     
     
         22 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises displaying user information including a moving distance of the user from a start of the exercise, user's current speed, user's heartbeat, user's breathing rate, date, current time and/or elapsed time from the start of exercise. 
     
     
         23 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises determining the exercise model from the plurality of exercise models stored in the memory based on a condition designated by the user or an information processing apparatus. 
     
     
         24 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises controlling display of a user location position on a map image of the display screen based on the location data. 
     
     
         25 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises changing the output image in time series based on the location data. 
     
     
         26 . The computer-readable medium according to  claim 19 , wherein the image output method comprises changing the output image in time series so that a distance between the character image and the user, represented by the output image, indicates a difference in an amount of exercise or level of exercise between the user and the exercise model. 
     
     
         27 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 a memory;   a display screen; and   circuitry configured to:
 determine an exercise model from a plurality of exercise models stored in the memory; 
 receive first sensor data from a first sensor; and 
 control display of an output image, including a character image indicating the exercise model, on the display screen, 
   wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image in time series so as to indicate a difference between a user and the exercise model based on the first sensor data.   
     
     
         28 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 27 , wherein the first sensor is a location measuring sensor and the first sensor data is location position data of the user. 
     
     
         29 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 27 , further comprising a second sensor,
 wherein the circuitry is configured to receive acceleration data from the second sensor.   
     
     
         30 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 27 , wherein the circuitry is configured to change the output image so as to represent whether the user is ahead of or behind the character image.
