Abstract

A system for vehicle information delivery includes an identification (ID) object linked to a vehicle and located proximate to or on the vehicle and configured to transmit a wireless signal to cause vehicle data of the vehicle to which it is linked to be displayed on a client device of an end user, the vehicle data including a vehicle identification number and vehicle specification information. The system further includes a service provider system comprising a processor unit and a memory, the memory having a service management module executable by the processor unit to: receive a first signal indicating that the vehicle data has been displayed to the end user on the client device; determine the vehicle data based on the first signal; determine location data corresponding to the vehicle; and transmit a second signal to a service provider client device with the vehicle data and the location data.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A system, comprising;
 an identification (ID) object linked to a vehicle and located proximate to or on the vehicle, the ID object configured to transmit a wireless signal to cause vehicle data of the vehicle to which it is linked to be displayed on a client device of an end user, the vehicle data including a vehicle identification number and vehicle specification information; and a service provider system comprising a processor unit and a memory, the memory having a service management module executable by the processor unit to:
 receive a first signal indicating that the vehicle data has been displayed to the end user on the client device;
 determine the vehicle data based on the first signal;
 determine location data corresponding to the vehicle; and
 transmit a second signal to a service provider client device with the vehicle data and the location data.

         2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive registration data corresponding to the service provider client device, the registration data comprising availability status information of a user of the service provider client device; and monitor a location of the user of the service provider client device via the service provider client device.

         3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive a request for assistance from the end user; and analyze the registration data to identify and select the user of the service provider client device to respond to the request.

         4 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive a request for assistance from the end user; and analyze the location of the user of the service provider client device to determine whether to select the user of the service provider client device to respond to the request.

         5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive profile data from the end user client device corresponding to the end user; and receive showroom data from the end user client device, the showroom data indicating one or more vehicles previously viewed by the end user.

         6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the second signal further comprises availability information of an ignition-enabling device for operation of the vehicle from a key management machine.

         7 . A system, comprising:
 an identification (ID) object linked to a vehicle and located proximate to or on the vehicle, the ID object configured to transmit a wireless signal to cause vehicle data of the vehicle to which it is linked to be displayed on a client device of an end user, the vehicle data including a vehicle identification number and vehicle specification information; and a service provider system comprising a processor unit and a memory, the memory having a service management module executable by the processor unit to:
 receive a first signal indicating that the vehicle data has been displayed to the end user on the client device;
 determine the vehicle data based on the first signal;
 determine location data corresponding to the end user via the client device of the end user; and
 transmit a second signal to a service provider client device with the vehicle data and the location data.

         8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive registration data corresponding to the service provider client device, the registration data comprising availability status information of a user of the service provider client device; and monitor a location of the user of the service provider client device via the service provider client device.

         9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive a request for assistance from the end user; and analyze the registration data to identify and select the user of the service provider client device to respond to the request.

         10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive a request for assistance from the end user; and analyze the location of the user of the service provider client device to determine whether to select the user of the service provider client device to respond to the request.

         11 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive profile data from the end user client device corresponding to the end user; and receive showroom data from the end user client device, the showroom data indicating one or more vehicles previously viewed by the end user.

         12 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the second signal further comprises availability information of an ignition-enabling device for operation of the vehicle from a key management machine.

         13 . A system, comprising:
 an identification (ID) object linked to a vehicle and located proximate to or on the vehicle, the ID object configured to transmit a wireless signal to cause vehicle data of the vehicle to which it is linked to be displayed on a client device of an end user, the vehicle data including a vehicle identification number and vehicle specification information; and a service provider system comprising a processor unit and a memory, the memory having a service management module executable by the processor unit to:
 receive a first signal indicating that the vehicle data has been displayed to the end user on the client device;
 determine the vehicle data based on the first signal;
 receive a second signal from the client device of the end user indicating a contact request;
 determine GPS data corresponding to a plurality of service provider client devices;
 identify location data corresponding to the plurality of service provider client devices based on the GPS data; and
 select at least one of the plurality of service provider client devices to respond to the contact request based on the location data.

         14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the service management module is configured to receive registration data corresponding to the plurality of service provider client devices, the registration data comprising availability status information of a user of the respective service provider client device.

         15 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the service management module is configured to:
 receive profile data from the end user client device corresponding to the end user; and receive showroom data from the end user client device, the showroom data indicating one or more vehicles previously viewed by the end user.
