Athletic compression tights are commonly worn by athletes and active individuals engaged in sports and physical actively ranging from track and field to bicycling. The basic function of compression tights is serve as athletic girdle and support for muscles. This is accomplished through the use of a stretch fabric which is placed in tension as the part is pulled in position on the wearer's body. The substrate athletic tights can be made of natural or synthetic materials, such as but not limited to cotton, nylon, polyester, LYCRA, SPANDEX, and combinations and blends. Use of a relatively thin breathable or wicking material such as nylon can add to the comfort of the wearer.
