In some embodiments, the breast rack includes breast-rack handles at each end of the breast rack that extend in an upward direction from the breast rack, and each breast-rack handle can include an attaching mechanism. In some embodiments, the back rack includes back-rack handles at each end of the back rack that extend in an upward direction from the back rack. In some embodiments, each back-rack handle includes a plurality of receiving mechanisms located at a plurality of different positions for receiving the attaching mechanism of the breast-rack handles.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An apparatus comprising:
a. a first rack; and b. a second rack configured to releasably attach to said first rack, wherein said first rack comprises
i. a first handle located on a first end of said first rack wherein said first handle includes a first height-adjustment mechanism with a plurality of attachment points that are each located on a different horizontal plane through said first rack when said first rack is in an upright position and are configured to attach to said second rack to adjust the spacing between said first rack and said second rack; and
ii. a second handle located on a second end of said first rack;
wherein said second rack comprises
i. a third handle on a first end of said second rack wherein said third handle includes a first connector configured to releasably connect to a first attachment point selected from said plurality of attachment points; and
ii. a fourth handle on a second end of said second rack.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said second handle includes a second height-adjustment mechanism with a second plurality of attachment points that attach to said second rack and wherein said fourth handle includes a second latch connector configured to releasably connect to a second attachment point selected from said second plurality of attachment points.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said fourth handle includes a second height-adjustment mechanism with a second plurality of attachment points that attach to said second rack and wherein said second handle includes a second latch connector configured to releasably connect to a second attachment point selected from said second plurality of attachment points.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first connector is formed from a metal and is a latch connector.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first latch connector is affixed to said third handle.
6 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first handle, said second handle, said third handle, and said fourth handle are configured to be manually grasped.
7 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first rack additional comprises a at least one foot, wherein said at least one foot is configured to keep a food item being cooked raised above a bottom of a cooking container.
8 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein said first and said second handles rotate about a transverse horizontal axis, wherein said at least one foot is transversely oriented.
9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said first rack includes a wire frame.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said first handle and said fourth handles rotates about a transverse horizontal axis.
11 . The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first connector includes an elastic receptacle.
12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein: said second rack is more convex than said first rack.
13 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said first connector comprises:
i. a non-elastic receptacle that is configured to receive and contain one or more of said plurality of attachment points on said first height-adjustment mechanism; and ii. a spring configured to allow one or more of said plurality of attachment points on said height-adjustment mechanism to enter said receptacle and to hold said attachment point within said receptacle.
14 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein: said first rack and said second rack have identical shapes.
15 . The apparatus of claim 2 wherein said first rack additional comprises a at least one foot, wherein said at least one foot is configured to keep a food item being cooked raised above a bottom of a cooking container.
16 . The apparatus of claim 2 wherein said first connector is formed from flat spring steel and is a latch connector.
17 . The apparatus of claim 2 wherein said first latch connector is affixed to said third handle.
18 . The apparatus of claim 2 wherein said first handle, said second handle, said third handle, and said fourth handle are configured to be manually grasped.
19 . The apparatus of claim 15 wherein said first connector is formed from flat spring steel and is a latch connector.
20 . The apparatus of claim 15 wherein said first latch connector is affixed to said third handle.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
