Construction dust and debris collecting attachment device for a vacuum

Abstract

A construction dust and debris collecting attachment device for a vacuum may include a shell with an interior housing. The shell may have a plurality of holes. The plurality of holes may a drill and arbor port, a vacuum port, and a plurality of dilution holes. A vacuum fitting may removably attach to the vacuum port on the shell. The shell may be a half spherical shape. When producing a hole, the device may allow one person to drill the hole while controlling the dust and debris within the shell, and in turn collected into the vacuum.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A construction dust and debris collecting attachment device for a vacuum comprising:
 a shell, having a plurality of holes and an interior housing.   
     
     
         2 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 1 , wherein the shell has a half spherical shape. 
     
     
         3 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of holes comprises at least a drill and arbor port, and a vacuum port. 
     
     
         4 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 3 , further comprising a vacuum fitting removably attached to the vacuum port. 
     
     
         5 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of holes comprises at least a plurality of dilution holes. 
     
     
         6 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 1 , wherein the shell is clear. 
     
     
         7 . A construction dust and debris collecting attachment device for a vacuum comprising:
 a shell, having a drill and arbor port, a vacuum port, a plurality of dilution holes, and an interior housing; and   a vacuum fitting removably attached to the vacuum port of the shell.   
     
     
         8 . The construction dust and debris collecting attachment device of  claim 6 , wherein the shell has a half spherical shape. 
     
     
         9 . A method for controlling dust and debris comprising:
 passing a hole saw arbor and an extension through a drill and arbor port of a construction dust and debris collecting attachment device, wherein the construction dust and debris collecting attachment device is defined by a shell having the drill and arbor port, a vacuum port, a plurality of dilution holes, and an interior housing; and a vacuum fitting removably attached to the vacuum port of the shell;   connecting a vacuum to the vacuum port through the use of a vacuum fitting removably attached to the vacuum port;   spotting the hole to be drilled along a flat surface;   turning on the vacuum, wherein the suction from the vacuum seals the shell to the flat surface;   drilling the desired hole;   controlling the dust and debris within the interior housing of the shell; and   collecting the dust within the vacuum.   
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9 , wherein the shell has a half spherical shape.
