Abstract

A system and method for real time delivery of context based content from the cloud (internet) to mobile devices. The information in the cloud is available in the form of software-as-a-service is accessible from laptops and personal computers. The system obtains information from multiple sources in the “cloud,” correlates the information, determines a subset of information based on context, and pushes the information to at least one mobile device. An engine extracts a context based subset of information and correlates the context based subset of information based on the same context or a different context. A data push engine makes the information available in real time to a user by pushing the information to the at least one mobile device like a smartphone, tablet, and/or navigation system.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A method comprising:
 receiving data through the Internet that includes one or more contexts from multiple data systems configured to deliver the data to a mobile device; correlating the data based on the one or more contexts; determining a plurality of subsets of data based on the one or more contexts; determining a most relevant subset of data from the plurality of subsets of data using a predetermined context of the mobile device; delivering the most relevant subset of data to the mobile device using a push mechanism.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the most relevant subset of data is delivered to the mobile device in a manner that is agnostic to the mobile device.

         3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 determining a matched context, included as part of the one or more contexts, between the multiple data systems; correlating the data based on the matched context.

         4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 storing the most relevant subset of data remote from the mobile device; determining if a push criteria for the most relevant subset of data is met; if it is determined that the push criteria is met, delivering the most relevant subset of data to the mobile device using the push mechanism.

         5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the most relevant subsets of data is delivered to the mobile device using the push mechanism in real-time.

         6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more contexts are determined based on a person communicating with a user of the mobile device through the mobile device.

         7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the data includes patient records of a plurality of patients and the one or more contexts are determined based on an identification of a patient communicating with a user of the mobile device.

         8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising deleting the most relevant subset of data from the mobile device after a user of the mobile device has viewed the most relevant subset of data.

         9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising normalizing the data into the same format or compatible format.

         10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining the push mechanism according to a configuration of the mobile device.

         11 . A system comprising:
 a data acquisition engine configured to receive data through the Internet that includes one or more contexts from multiple data systems configured to deliver the data to a mobile device; a business rules engine configured to:
 correlate the data based on the one or more contexts;
 determine a plurality of subsets of data based on the one or more contexts;
 determine a most relevant subset of data from the plurality of subsets of data using a predetermined context of the mobile device;
   a push engine configured to deliver the most relevant subset of data to the mobile device using a push mechanism.

         12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the push engine is further configured to deliver the most relevant subset of data in a manner that is agnostic to the mobile device.

         13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the business rules engine is further configured to:
 determine a matched context, included as part of the one or more contexts, between the multiple data systems; correlate the data based on the matched context.

         14 . The system of  claim 11 , wherein:
 the business rules engine is further configured to store the most relevant subset of data remote from the mobile device; the push engine further configured to:
 determine if a push criteria for the most relevant subset of data is met;
 deliver the most relevant subset of data to the mobile device using the push mechanism, if it is determined that the push criteria is met.

         15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the most relevant subsets of data is delivered to the mobile device using the push mechanism in real-time.

         16 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more contexts are determined based on a person communicating with a user of the mobile device through the mobile device.

         17 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the data includes patient records of a plurality of patients and the one or more contexts are determined based on an identification of a patient communicating with a user of the mobile device.

         18 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the most relevant subset of data is deleted from the mobile device after a user of the mobile device has viewed the most relevant subset of data.

         19 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising a normalization engine configured to normalize the data into the same format or compatible format.

         20 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the push engine is further configured to determine the push mechanism according to a configuration of the mobile device.
