Image forming apparatus, information processing apparatus, printing system, method of controlling the same, and storage medium
Abstract
An image forming apparatus, an information processing apparatus, a printing system, a method of controlling the same, and a storage medium. An image forming apparatus authenticates a user, transmits a request for a list of print jobs, and receives a list of print jobs transmitted in response to the request. The image forming apparatus displays on a display unit the list of print jobs received in the receiving, and in the displaying, a list of the print jobs, for which a user name of the user authenticated in the authenticating and a job owner name of the print job match, and a list of print jobs for which a job owner name is unknown is displayed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . An image forming apparatus, comprising:
a storage unit configured to store a print job transmitted from an external apparatus; an acceptance unit configured to accept a login of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; a display unit configured to display a print job of the user whose login the acceptance unit accepted among print jobs stored in the storage unit, and further configured to display a print job, stored in the storage unit, that is not of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; and a printing unit configured to execute a print job selected by the user whose login is accepted from at least one print job displayed by the display unit; and a setting unit configured to perform a setting to cancel a print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus in accordance with a reception of the print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
3 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus is a print job of a user other than the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
4 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus is a print job for which a user name is not added.
5 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , further comprising a selection unit configured to select whether to display only a print job of the user whose login the acceptance unit accepted, or to display both a print job of the user whose login the acceptance unit accepted and a print job not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
6 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , further comprising a selection unit configured to select whether to display only a print job of the user whose login is accepted, or to display only a print job not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
7 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the setting unit is configured to set to execute a print job not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus without instructing the user whose login is accepted by the acceptance unit.
8 . The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the setting unit is configured to set to store in the storage unit a print job not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
9 . A method of controlling an image forming apparatus, the method comprising:
storing a print job transmitted from an external apparatus; accepting a login of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; displaying a print job of the user whose login is accepted among stored print jobs, and further displaying a stored print job that is not of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; executing a print job selected by the user whose login is accepted from at least one displayed print job; and performing a setting to cancel a print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus in accordance with a reception of the print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.
10 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute:
storing a print job transmitted from an external apparatus; accepting a login of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; displaying a print job of the user whose login is accepted among stored print jobs, and further displaying a stored print job that is not of a user managed by the image forming apparatus; executing a print job selected by the user whose login is accepted from at least one displayed print job; and performing a setting to cancel a print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus in accordance with a reception of the print job that is not of the user managed by the image forming apparatus.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
