Abstract

A safety plate bib includes a cover skirt. An insulated material is retained within the cover skirt. An elastic band is retained within the cover skirt. A stretch thread secures the insulated material and the elastic band within the cover skirt. The cover skirt, the insulated material, the elastic band, and the stretch thread cooperate with each other to form fittingly engage with an edge of a dishware.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 9 . (canceled)

         10 . A safety plate bib comprising:
a cover skirt; an insulated material retained within the cover skirt; an elastic band retained within the cover skirt; and a stretch thread securing the insulated material and the elastic band within the cover skirt, the cover skirt, the insulated material, the elastic band, and the stretch thread cooperating to form fittingly engage an edge of a dishware.

11 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , further comprising a weight element secured to a bottom of the safety plate bib, the weight element configured to support the dishware.

12 . The safety plate bib of claim 11 , wherein the weight element includes a pair of strips, each of the strips extending across the bottom of the safety plate bib from a first side of the safety plate bib to a second side of the safety plate bib.

13 . The safety plate bib of claim 12 , wherein each of the strips is elastic.

14 . The safety plate bib of claim 12 , wherein the strips are disposed orthogonal to each other.

15 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the cover skirt is formed from a cotton material.

16 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the cover skirt is formed from a polyurethane material.

17 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the insulated material is fire resistant.

18 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the insulated material is cotton.

19 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the insulated material is polyurethane.

20 . The safety plate bib of claim 10 , wherein the cover skirt is substantially annular.

21 . The safety plate bib of claim 20 , wherein the cover skirt defines a concave inner portion with respect to an inner diameter of the cover skirt, the convex inner portion configured to receive the edge of the dishware.

         22 . A safety plate bib comprising:
a cover skirt; an elastic band retained within the cover skirt; and a pair of stretch threads securing the elastic band within the cover skirt, the cover skirt, the elastic band, and the pair of stretch threads cooperating to form fittingly engage an edge of a dishware.

23 . The safety plate bib of claim 22 , further comprising an insulated material retained within the cover skirt.

24 . The safety plate bib of claim 23 , wherein the insulated material is at least one of a fire resistant material, a cotton material, and a polyurethane material.

25 . The safety plate bib of claim 22 , further comprising a weight element secured to a bottom of the safety plate bib, the weight element configured to support the dishware.

26 . The safety plate bib of claim 25 , wherein the weight element includes a pair of elastic strips, each of the strips extending across the bottom of the safety plate bib from a first side of the safety plate bib to a second side of the safety plate bib.

27 . The safety plate bib of claim 26 , wherein the pair of elastic strips are disposed orthogonal to each other.

28 . The safety plate bib of claim 22 , wherein the cover skirt is formed from at least one of a cotton material and a polyurethane material.

29 . A safety plate bib and dishware assembly:
a cover skirt; an elastic band retained within the cover skirt; a pair of stretch threads securing the elastic band within the cover skirt; and a dishware having an edge, the cover skirt, the elastic band, and the pair of stretch threads cooperating to form fittingly engage with the edge of the dishware.
