Refrigerator
Abstract
A refrigerator includes a main body having a storage chamber; a first storage unit formed in the storage chamber, left and right side walls of the first storage unit having first roller supporting surfaces; and a second storage unit having first roller members mounted to a front region of the second storage unit on left and right sides thereof, the first roller members being seated on the first roller supporting surfaces of the first storage unit, a protrusion extending downwardly from a bottom surface of the second storage unit, and second roller members provided on both sides of the second storage unit to move along guide surfaces provided on an interior of the storage chamber. A lateral surface of the protrusion is configured to extend into and contact an interior surface of the first storage unit to prevent the first roller members from laterally leaving the first roller supporting surfaces.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A refrigerator comprising:
a main body having a storage chamber; a first storage unit formed in the storage chamber, left and right side walls of the first storage unit having first roller supporting surfaces; and a second storage unit having first roller members mounted to a front region of the second storage unit on left and right sides thereof, the first roller members being seated on the first roller supporting surfaces of the first storage unit to enable rolling movement thereof, a protrusion extending downwardly from a bottom surface of the second storage unit, and second roller members provided on both sides of the second storage unit to move along guide surfaces provided on an interior of the storage chamber, wherein a lateral surface of the protrusion is configured to extend into and contact an interior surface of the first storage unit to prevent the first roller members from laterally leaving the first roller supporting surfaces.
2 . The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein a rear region of the first roller supporting surfaces includes a stopper member configured to restrict a backward movement of the second storage unit during the rolling motion of the first roller members.
3 . The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein the second roller members are configured to support a rear region of the second storage unit.
4 . The refrigerator according to claim 1 , further comprising a connection bar provided to connect both sides of the first storage unit and to restrain the first storage unit from moving forward and backward while being inserted and withdrawn.
5 . The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein the protrusion laterally extends along the bottom surface of the second storage unit substantially a length of the second storage unit.
6 . A refrigerator comprising:
a main body having a storage chamber; a door rotatably mounted to the main body; a first storage unit formed in the storage chamber, each of left and right side walls of the first storage unit having first roller supporting surfaces; and a second storage unit having first roller members mounted to a front region of the second storage unit on left and right sides thereof, the first roller members being seated on the first roller supporting surfaces of the first storage unit to enable rolling movement thereof, and second roller members being provided on both sides of the second storage unit to move along guide surfaces provided on an interior of the storage chamber, wherein a lateral surface of a lower portion of the second storage unit is configured to extend into and contact an interior surface of the first storage unit to prevent the second storage unit from laterally leaving the first roller supporting surfaces.
7 . The refrigerator according to claim 6 , further comprising at least one stopper member configured at a rear region of the first supporting surfaces to restrict a backward movement of the second storage unit during the rolling movement of the first rollers members.
8 . The refrigerator according to claim 6 , wherein the first roller supporting surfaces are formed at a top region of both left and right side walls of the first storage unit.
9 . The refrigerator according to claim 6 , wherein the lower portion laterally extends substantially a length of the second storage unit.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
