System and method for applying covering material with an aerosolization system
Abstract
A method for effective and efficient water or wastewater aerosolization and industry specific and regulatory agency approved ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating solution dissemination over identified and specific areas that are to be addressed. The water or wastewater and industry or regulatory body specifically approved ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution(s) is directed to an “Integrated Mobile Aerosolization System (IMAS)” or other system having a turbine and being integrated and mobile. The turbine is driven so as to generate a system of air. Integrated pumps are utilized to move the water or wastewater and industry or regulatory body specific and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution(s) to a series of nozzles that aerosolizes the water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution into the path of the system of air. The water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution form a mixture that is entrained in the system of air. The mixture of water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilizing or penetrating reagent solution is directed over a specific area that is to be covered with an approved material. The water or wastewater and ADC, soil stabilization or penetrating reagent solution form that industry specific and regulatory body approved covering material that is applied to the specific area.

1 . A method of applying a covering, stabilizing or penetrating reagent composition to a selected area comprising:
directing water to an aerosolization system that includes a turbine and a turbine housing; driving the turbine and generating a system of air that moves through the turbine housing; pumping the water under pressure to a series of nozzles associated with the aerosolization system; mixing the covering, stabilizing or penetrating reagent composition with the water to form a water-composition mixture before the water is emitted from the nozzles; pumping the water-composition mixture to and through the nozzle into the system of air generated by the turbine and passing through the turbine housing to form a water-composition-air mixture; and aerosolizing the water-composition-air mixture and directing the aerosolized water-composition-air mixture from the turbine housing through the air and towards the selected area where at least portions of the composition fall onto the selected area.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the water comprises wastewater.
3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the composition comprises an alternative daily covering composition and wherein the aerosolization system is operative to deliver the alternative daily cover composition to the selected area.
4 . The method of claim 1 wherein a series of nozzles are communicatively connected to a ring pipe disposed adjacent the turbine housing, and the method includes directing the water into the ring pipe and directing the covering, stabilizing or penetrating reagent composition into the ring pipe where the composition and the water are mixed together in the ring pipe to form the water-composition mixture.
5 . The method of claim 1 including directing the water under pressure into a ring pipe disposed adjacent the turbine housing and mixing the composition with the water in the ring pipe, and aerosolizing the water-composition mixture in the turbine housing causing the aerosolized mixture to be entrained in the system of air generated by the turbine and passing through the turbine housing past the ring pipe.
6 . The method of claim 1 wherein the composition includes an antimicrobial composition, a soil stabilizing reagent, a penetrating reagent, an odor suppression composition, or an alternative daily cover composition.
7 . The method of claim 1 wherein the aerosolization system includes a ring pipe disposed interiorly of the turbine housing adjacent an outlet end portion of the turbine housing and the method includes emitting the water-composition mixture from nozzles disposed around the ring pipe where the water-composition mixture mixes with the system of air passing through the turbine housing to form the water-composition-air mixture.
8 . A method of applying a composition to a selected area with an aerosolization system having a tubular turbine housing and a turbine associated with the turbine housing, the method comprising:
pumping water under pressure to a ring pipe having a series of nozzles with the ring pipe being disposed adjacent an outlet end of the turbine housing; directing the composition to the ring pipe and mixing the composition with the water in the ring pipe to form a water-composition mixture; driving the turbine and generating a system of air within the turbine housing and moving the system of air through the turbine housing and out an outlet end of the turbine housing; emitting the water-composition mixture from the nozzles and aerosolizing the water-composition mixture and entraining the aerosolized water-composition mixture in the system of air moving through the turbine housing to form a water-composition-air mixture; and shooting the water-composition-air mixture, including the aerosolized water-composition mixture, from the outlet end of the turbine housing and towards the selected area such that the water-composition-air mixture travels through the atmosphere towards the selected area and wherein at least a portion of the composition lands on the selected area.
9 . The method of claim 8 wherein the water comprises wastewater.
10 . The method of claim 8 wherein the composition comprises an alternative daily covering composition and wherein the aerosolization system is operative to deliver the alternative daily cover composition to the selected area.
11 . The method of claim 8 wherein a series of nozzles are communicatively connected to a ring pipe disposed adjacent the turbine housing, and the method includes directing the water into the ring pipe and directing a covering, stabilizing or penetrating reagent composition into the ring pipe where the composition and the water are mixed together in the ring pipe to form the water-composition mixture.
12 . The method of claim 8 including directing the water under pressure into the ring pipe disposed adjacent the turbine housing and mixing the composition with the water in the ring pipe, and aerosolizing the water-composition mixture in the turbine housing causing the aerosolized mixture to be entrained in the system of air generated by the turbine and passing through the turbine housing past the ring pipe.
13 . The method of claim 8 wherein the composition includes an antimicrobial composition, a soil stabilizing reagent, a penetrating reagent, an odor suppression composition, or an alternative daily cover composition.
14 . The method of claim 8 wherein the ring pipe is disposed interiorly of the turbine housing adjacent an outlet end portion of the turbine housing and the method includes emitting the water-composition mixture from nozzles disposed around the ring pipe where the water-composition mixture mixes with the system of air passing through the turbine housing to form the water-composition-air mixture.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
