Abstract
Disclosed herein are a form board and a method of constructing a form using the same. The form board has a rectangular board shape, is made of foam so as to be usable as an insulator for pouring concrete, and tie through-holes are provided at edge portions of the form board such that flat ties are arranged through the tie through-holes. Thus, the form board is a nonmetallic form board (sheathing board) with heat insulation properties (e.g., made of a foam material such as Styrofoam or a plastic material) used as an internal/external insulator for construction, without the removal of the form board after pouring concrete, and the form board can provide convenience and practicality since the form board itself performs an insulation function and there is no need for the separate removal operation of the form board after curing the concrete and thus the installation operation of insulators.

A form board adapted to form a desired shape of construction form in such a manner that a plurality of form boards are spaced apart from each other at regular intervals in a width direction to define space portions therebetween and are continuously and vertically arranged in a longitudinal direction for pouring concrete, wherein:
the form board is made of foam so as to be usable as an insulator for pouring the concrete; tie through-holes are provided at both edge portions of the form board such that a flat tie is arranged through each of the tie through-holes; and the tie through-hole in the form board has a structure in which a body penetration portion communicates with a protrusion penetration portion, such that all of a tie body and gap holding protrusions pass through the tie through-hole.

The form board according to claim 1 , wherein each edge portion of the form board is further provided with a recessed groove portion such that each edge connection portion of an H-bar, which encloses an edge cross-section of the form board and front and rear surfaces adjacent thereto in a “ ” form to be fitted to the form board, is flush with the edge cross-section and front and rear surfaces of the form board.
3 . The form board according to claim 2 , wherein a coupling structure between the flat tie and the H-bar through the recessed groove portion is as follows:
the gap holding protrusions of the flat tie arranged through the tie through-hole are respectively spaced apart from the front and rear surfaces of the recessed groove portion at regular intervals; and the edge connection portion of the H-bar mounted to the recessed groove portion is inserted into a clearance between the surface of the recessed groove portion and the gap holding protrusions, so that the gap holding protrusions are located on and caught by an outer surface of the edge connection portion of the H-bar so as to fix the flat tie.

The form board according to claim 1 , wherein each of the edge portions of the form board is further provided a through-hole through which pass each H-bar, for connecting edges of a plurality of form boards, which is continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction, and each fixing pin for interconnecting and fixing the edges of the form boards.
5 . The form board according to claim 1 , wherein the form board further has an adhesive recessed portion recessed at a central portion of one surface thereof facing the concrete, in order to improve adhesion with the poured concrete.
6 . The form board according to claim 1 , wherein the form board further has a central through-hole formed at a central portion thereof such that the flat tie passes through the central through-hole.
7 . A method of constructing a form using a form board, comprising:
preparing a plurality of form boards having tie through-holes in edge portions thereof in order to install a construction form; vertically arranging the form boards which are spaced apart from each other at regular intervals in a width direction and are continuously arranged in a longitudinal direction for pouring concrete; arranging flat ties through the tie through-holes in opposite edges of each of the form boards which are continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction, and then interconnecting the form boards using H-bars; connecting hooks by wedges through wedge holes in the flat ties protruding outward from the form boards; installing transverse support bars to the hooks; and arranging vertical support bars between the transverse support bars and outer surfaces of the form boards.
8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein a coupling relationship between each of the flat ties and each of the H-bars through a recessed groove portion is as follows:
the flat tie is arranged through each of the tie through-holes such that gap holding protrusions of the flat tie are respectively spaced apart from front and rear surfaces of the recessed groove portion at regular intervals; and each edge connection portion of the H-bar is inserted into a clearance between the surface of the recessed groove portion and the gap holding protrusions, so that the gap holding protrusions are located on and caught by an outer surface of the edge connection portion of the H-bar so as to fix the flat tie.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
