Abstract
The game of “Cans” is a common game, primarily played by urban youth in mid-western cities throughout the United States. The “BYG SR Performance Platforms” can be used on an indoor or outdoor surface to provide accurate line measures for scoring tallying during the course of a “Can” game. The game of “Cans” is designed to incorporate both male and female contestants from various age groups. During BYG Seven Reign tournament play, age groups are divided into brackets to provide friendly and fair competition for everyone involved. Brackets for tournament competition usually consist of ages 7-9, 10-13, 14-17 and 18 and up. The total length of the “BYG SR Performance Platform (Vinyl Commercial) playing area is 51 feet, or 612 inches in length. The total width of the “BYG SR Performance Platform (Vinyl Commercial) playing area is approximately 3 feet, or 36 inches wide. Each of the Performance Platform lines marked as 10, 20, 30 and 40 are 70 inches apart in length and 36 inches wide.
