Abstract
Methods and apparatus for information organization and exchange by providing a data store of interconnected items of information that together form an intent-driven taxonomy. This allows users to easily discover and exchange real-time items of information across applications.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
providing at least one data store server having at least one data store for storing a plurality of items of information, each item of information associated with at least one item of meta-information; receiving, via a user interface, a definition of a feed configured to receive particular items of information via the data store server and provide the particular items of information to a receiver external to the data store server; receiving, at the data store server, a new item of information associated with at least one item of meta-information; copying at least part of the new item of information to a different item of information, wherein the copied part of the new item of information is transformed in the copying to the different item of information; and providing at least one of the new item of information and the different item of information comprising the transformed part of the new item of information to the receiver external to the data store server via the feed.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the feed is configured to receive the particular items of information based on a rule defined via the user interface.
23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the rule comprises at least one criterion selected from the group consisting of a source location, a destination location, and a characteristic for testing the copied part of the new item of information.
24 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising determining, based on the meta-information associated with the new item of information, that the different item of information is related to the new item of information.
25 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising determining whether the new item of information can be provided to the receiver external to the data store server based on a permission associated with at least one of the new item of information and the feed.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising determining whether the new item of information can be provided to the receiver external to the data store server based on a permission associated with at least one of the different item of information and the feed.
27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the copying comprises transforming at least one of a format, a content, and a structure of the at least part of the new item of information.
28 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising adding the new item of information to the data store.
29 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the data store comprises a first data store and a second data store, the method further comprising storing in the second data store a second plurality of items of information, each item of information in the second plurality associated with at least one item of meta-information.
30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein at least one item of information stored in the first data store is connected with at least one item of information stored in the second data store.
31 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the receiver external to the data store server comprises a networked device, a gateway, an application, or an application interface.
32 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the new item of information is received from a networked device, a gateway, an application, or an application interface.
33 . A system, comprising:
at least one data store server comprising at least one memory storing computer-executable instructions and at least one processor for executing the instructions stored on the at least one memory, wherein execution of the instructions results in the at least one processor performing operations comprising:
providing at least one data store for storing a plurality of items of information, each item of information associated with at least one item of meta-information;
receiving, via a user interface, a definition of a feed configured to receive particular items of information via the data store server and provide the particular items of information to a receiver external to the data store server;
receiving a new item of information associated with at least one item of meta-information;
copying at least part of the new item of information to a different item of information, wherein the copied part of the new item of information is transformed in the copying to the different item of information; and
providing at least one of the new item of information and the different item of information comprising the transformed part of the new item of information to the receiver external to the data store server via the feed.
34 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the feed is configured to receive the particular items of information based on a rule defined via the user interface.
35 . The system of claim 34 , wherein the rule comprises at least one criterion selected from the group consisting of a source location, a destination location, and a characteristic for testing the copied part of the new item of information.
36 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the operations further comprise determining, based on the meta-information associated with the new item of information, that the different item of information is related to the new item of information.
37 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the operations further comprise determining whether the new item of information can be provided to the receiver external to the data store server based on a permission associated with at least one of the new item of information and the feed.
38 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the operations further comprise determining whether the new item of information can be provided to the receiver external to the data store server based on a permission associated with at least one of the different item of information and the feed.
39 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the copying comprises transforming at least one of a format, a content, and a structure of the at least part of the new item of information.
40 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the operations further comprise adding the new item of information to the data store.
41 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the data store comprises a first data store and a second data store, and wherein the operations further comprise storing in the second data store a second plurality of items of information, each item of information in the second plurality associated with at least one item of meta-information.
42 . The system of claim 41 , wherein at least one item of information stored in the first data store is connected with at least one item of information stored in the second data store.
43 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the receiver external to the data store server comprises a networked device, a gateway, an application, or an application interface.
44 . The system of claim 33 , wherein the new item of information is received from a networked device, a gateway, an application, or an application interface.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
