Rail vehicle for transporting passengers

Abstract

A rail vehicle for transporting passengers includes a plurality of passenger seats which form a seating configuration and are fastened in the rail vehicle. A guiding device is provided for at least one passenger seat for moving the passenger seat in the vertical direction to directly below a ceiling of the rail vehicle and a locking device is provided for locking the passenger seat below the ceiling.

         8 . A rail vehicle for passenger transport, the rail vehicle comprising:
 a plurality of passenger seats forming a seating configuration and being secured in the rail vehicle;   at least one guiding device associated with at least one of said passenger seats for moving said at least one passenger seat in a vertical direction directly below an inner ceiling of the rail vehicle; and   at least one securing device associated with at least one of said passenger seats for securing said at least one passenger seat below the inner ceiling.   
     
     
         9 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 8 , wherein each of said passenger seats has a seating surface and a backrest constructed to be folded onto said seating surface of said passenger seat. 
     
     
         10 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 8 , wherein said at least one guiding device is constructed as at least one vertical retention rod. 
     
     
         11 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 10 , wherein said at least one retention rod ( 5 ) has an upper end with a catch for securing said passenger seat. 
     
     
         12 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 8 , wherein said at least one guiding device is constructed as at least one rail fitted vertically to a side wall of the rail vehicle. 
     
     
         13 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 12 , wherein said at least one rail has an upper end to which at least one of said passenger seats can be clamped. 
     
     
         14 . The rail vehicle according to  claim 8 , wherein each of said passenger seats is secured exclusively by a respective one of said at least one guiding device.
