Flat tie and method of constructing form using flat tie and nonmetallic form board

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a flat tie including a long strip-shaped steel tie body passing through a pair of form boards, which are spaced apart in a width direction, and having wedge holes, which are respectively provided in both end portions thereof protruding outward from the associated form boards, and a plurality of gap holding protrusions provided on one surface of the tie body, which is located in a space between the pair of spaced form boards, so as to be caught by and fixed to one side of each form board, such that a predetermined distance between the pair of form boards is maintained. In accordance with the disclosure, it is possible to basically remove a separate gap holding member for maintaining a distance between form boards and to reduce costs.

A flat tie adapted such that, in a state in which the flat tie traverses a space between a plurality of form boards, spaced apart from each other at regular intervals in a width direction and continuously and vertically arranged in a longitudinal direction, while both end portions of the flat tie protrude outward from the respective form boards, the flat tie is embedded after concrete is poured into a space between a pair of form boards and is then cured, the flat tie comprising:
 a tie body passing through the pair of form boards spaced apart in the width direction, and having wedge holes respectively provided in both end portions thereof protruding outward from the associated form boards; and   a plurality of gap holding protrusions provided on one surface of the tie body located in the space between the pair of spaced form boards, so as to be caught by and fixed to one side of each form board, such that a predetermined distance between the pair of form boards is maintained, wherein:   the gap holding protrusions have a perpendicular protruding structure configured to perpendicularly protrude from one surface of the flat tie;   the flat tie is arranged in the width direction between and through facing edges of the form boards, continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction; and   the gap holding protrusions have a front/rear surrounding structure configured to surround front and rear surfaces of each edge of the corresponding form boards.   
     
     
         2 . The flat tie according to  claim 1 , wherein the perpendicular protruding structure of each of the gap holding protrusions is formed by cutting one surface of the flat tie and then bending a tip portion thereof in a perpendicular direction. 
     
     
         3 . A method of constructing a form using a flat tie, comprising:
 preparing a flat tie having gap holding protrusions of a front/rear surrounding structure;   vertically arranging a plurality of form boards such that the form boards are spaced apart from each other at regular intervals in a width direction and continue in a longitudinal direction;   connecting facing edges of the respective form boards, continuously arranged in the longitudinal direction, using an H-bar; and   arranging the flat tie such that the flat tie is traversed in the width direction between facing edge cross-sections of the adjacent form boards, and fixing the respective gap holding protrusions of the flat tie by surrounding front and rear surfaces of each side edge of the corresponding form boards by the gap holding protrusions while wedge holes in both end portions of the flat tie protrude outward from the respective form boards, such that a predetermined distance between the form boards in the width direction thereof is maintained.   
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 3 , wherein:
 each of the form boards is provided as a form board having a central through-hole;   the flat tie is provided as a flat tie having a gap holding protrusion of an inner surface catching structure; and   the flat tie is arranged in a space between a pair of spaced form boards, and the gap holding protrusion of the inner surface catching structure is caught by an inner edge portion of the central through-hole in each of the form boards facing each other, such that a predetermined distance between the form boards in the width direction thereof is maintained.
